Anybody wasting their time playing VP for profit should open their eyes. They're the "salamanders", as Grosjean would put it, of machine AP's.

Profit is easy money if you know the players club inside and out how it works, free play min- max, how much coin in it takes at different amounts of free play you receive. It takes years to understand it all.
Surely not a waste of time.

Thanks Bob, for bringing me back down to earth.
Wife and I are heading back to Cherokee again in two days. A free room makes us feel as is the comps are real.

There is a reason I post most of my play in the Rec forum. Still certain casino promotions combined with a 99.54 JOB pay table can bring you very close to even or even a bit over long term. I am fortunate to still have 2 machines where I can take advantage of JOB play where get paid the correct amount for the Royal for a single quarter bet. I know those won’t last forever. The game definitely can be boring, but my style of play removes the boredom without adding to winning or losing percentages long term. The downside is it increases the possibility of a bankroll bust on any given session. There is also the tiny possibility of great wins if that bankroll hasn’t busted. While still behind the eight ball a mile, I have several of those wins to the tune of 18,000 16,800, and 18,000 bucks again. Please note and remember I used the word tiny. That is based on the number of hands played at a high bet level in a session as opposed to just a quarter bet.
