Re: How many royals have you hit in real life?
Why would you not count royals that you may have had when playing multi-hand? I can half understand the logic of not counting DreamCard royals - to a point. I have hit many, many royals on DreamCard but You're losing me on not counting multi-hand royals?
I don't understand the rationale for not counting multiline royals, either. The majority of my play is multiline, and, to me, a $2000 royal on the fourth hand of five hands is just as valuable as any other. Why not count it?
In my previous post, I indicated a total lifetime royal count of 175-200. If someone wants to argue that the count is wrong because most of them were on multiline games, go ahead - they paid me just as much per hand played as single hand ones.

That's what I mean. I routinely play 10 hand TDB at .25 denom minimum so if I get dealt 4 to the royal and hit 2 of them it's $2,000.00 and 2 royals. But by using the logic of not counting royals hit on multiline games means that I DIDN'T hit 2 royals then? A week ago I got a $2,000.00 royal playing 10 hand TDB at .50 denom. Two weeks ago I was playing 10 hand TDB DreamCard, .25 denom, was dealt 4 to the royal and hit 2 royals.

On a single line machine - 3 over the last 20 years. On multi-line machines, probably several hundred.

Dealt royals on 100-play penny poker games probably count for everyone!

If I didn't count royals on multi line games, I'd have zero. And probably 50% or more of my total hands are on single line games.

I think there is a huge difference between a Royal Flush on a one cent hundred play and on a quarter ten play.
Your opinion may be different. One I'm happy with, the other I'm ecstatic with. Its not hard to have a losing session with a RF on a penny 100 play than in a session where you hit one on a quarter ten play.

Sweet C and I are almost at 200 25¢ or higher denomination Royals since we began in 2007. Our biggest hits were her single hand $8K hit and my $10K multi-hand hit. Three times previously I've hit multi-hand for $5K. We had 14 dealt Royals. Additionally, we hit between 400-500 low denomination Royals since we play lots of multi-hand 5¢ VP. We have truly been "Lucky".

At least 150. The only dealt Royal on multi-line was on 50 play pennies and that was years ago. I still dream about a dealt Royal on $1 multi-line.

Since I started playing in the '70s, more than I can count. My brother and I went just about every weekend to Laughlin when we lived in So California. If we didn't hit at least 1 royal per trip, it was a bad trip. At least 10 dealt, (best one was a sequential at the California downtown...a LOT of money on that). I have played next to people who have been playing for many years and claimed they never hit a Royal. Well, maybe you should try another game. This ones not working well for you. If I didn't hit royals, I wouldn't go. Now, deuces on the other hand.......! Not many. Harder than royals I expect to win, not want to win. Billy Joe told me that years ago Miss him.
