How many royals have you hit in real life?

I used to hit them fairly regularly both in local casinos and vegas, but all machines seem to have been tightened up. Not sure of the total.

I think in about 20 years of casino play, I've only hit them maybe 3 times. But I do prefer table games over the VP machines.

I the first 30-35 years I played video poker I had not hit one Royal. Starting about 12 years ago I've hit hundreds of them, from quarter machines up to $25 machines.
Basically I experienced the clumping effect to the maximum degree.
Over a lifetime of playing I would say now that I've hit about as expected for the amount of time and hands I've played.

I've also played live poker for about 45 years. In all that time I've never made a Royal sitting in a live game. Lots of straight flushes, but just never connected on the big one.

21 since December 2013, The first one was the only one dealt! Highest hit was for $2,500 playing Bonus Royals DDB at Harrahs AC
