I saw the screenshot of the Double Double Bonus mode. It is 9/5 with 200 for 1 Straight Flush. If the player gets that payout without having to play the bonus feature, I'd play it at face value of 99.80% return (with Royals at 1 in 37,683 odds). Of course the colored flush features will bring down that return having to double the bet each time.
I might spend some time to pick this game apart to see if it is really worth playing. Going to sign up for GOLD for a month.

Okay....I have to admit; I must be very fickle The more I play this game the less fun it seems to be. I will admit, though; strategy plays a big role in this game; but doubt many people could afford it in a casino. imo

I just redeemed some of my Player's Club points to get some days of GOLD access. The payout percentages are listed out for the custom paytable feature on this game.
Generally nickels have the worst pay schedule and the quarters have the best at my nearby casino. At quarters it will be $25 a rounds for the 10 play.
Jacks or Better 9/5 (98.908%)
Triple Double Bonus 9/6 (98.192%)
Bonus Poker Deluxe 8/6 (98.707%)
Double Double Bonus 9/5 (98.127%)
Double Bonus 9/6/5 (98.778%)
It will be Jacks or Better for me.
The more I play this game the less fun it seems to be. I will admit, though; strategy plays a big role in this game; but doubt many people could afford it in a casino. imo
I will progress on finding out the full strategy for DDB, it is time to put my computer skills to the test.

Great idea to give how-to-play tips on a game that requires such a radical change from basic strategy.

I still intend on working on the strategy for this, but one thing I found really cool along the way.
A dealt Black/Red Royal Straight happens 1 in 43316 hands and pays half the royal amount. But since you must double your wager per round, it is more like 200 for 1 payout of your OVERALL WAGER rather than 400 for 1. Then again everything is halved with the double bets.
Explanation on how I derived this:
52 choose 5 is commonly 2598960 different ways to deal 5 cards
Each of the 5 cards is either Spade or Club = 2^5 = 32 ways
Each of the 5 cards is either Diamond or Heart = 2^5 = 32 ways
There are 64 ways total, but take out the 4 real royal flushes to get 60 colored royal straights.
2598960 / 60 = 43316

You guys amaze me; now, if I could just figure out what all that means If you are considering going into length for me, thanks but please don't bother. I'd hate for you to waste your time. I like to play at my own pleasurable, (not always correct-lol) logic.
