Re: ROYAL FLUSH DEALT!!
wow, a royal on the re-deal, that's amazing.
i also was dealt 4 9's on the bottom hand for 2,500 credits as well earlier in the evening, but that didn't last that long!
by the way, on the comment above mentioning requesting a check, i DID. however, they apparently don't have anyone there to write/sign the checks on the weekends, so i had to drive all the way back there today to pick it up.
very disorganized at that casino. it took 45 minutes after hitting the royal to get the w2g and another 30 minutes today just to get the check.
horrible customer service!

Usually I budget @ 1200 for a 3-4 day vegas trip. I was down to my last c-note when I got dealt one on .25 JOB @ the Venetian. GO Figure, bad pay schedules but usually comped rooms for at least half our stay.

Vidopoker: congratuations! Dealt 10play! Where did they give you such great service? Pechanga? San Manuel? Morongo? Those three gave me bad service but I'm not a big time player either. I do tip the drink servers as they work for a living like the rest of us.

Thanks PB!
Ed.... it was @ San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino in Highland (San Bernardino). And their machines aren't cheap. They have triple play but it's .50 not .25. If you want .25 you have to play 10 play.
Oddly enough, the pay schedules they have on the triple double bonus machines are better than many of the casinos I have seen in Vegas on my last few trips (9/5). When I was in Vegas in June, all 3 coast casinos had their triple double bonus pay schedules set at 8/5!! I was shocked (I get everything comped at Orleans so I usually gamble at their properties, but those are some nasty pay schedules for Vegas.)
By the way, I would advise against playing blackjack at San Manuel. Every minute you have someone coming in and out of the table and the players there are among the worst and I've been to many, many casinos since i was 18. I saw one player split 7's against a dealer 10 AND double on a hard 12. I believe she won both times. Also, say people standing on 13-15 against dealer 10 and say people surrending 14 against 10. I understand surrender with 16 against ten. go figure....

The only thing that matters about the Blackjack are the table rules. People making bad decisions....they don't really matter. The bad decisions with help you as often as they will hurt you. But that kind of "activity" at a table does upset a lot of people and if you're one of them you are in some good company! If it bothers you, like you said, don't play those tables. As for people coming in and out of the game, if you are not a card counter, then that HELPS you. "Why?" Because it slows down the game and if you are playing at negative expectation (i.e. just Basic Strategy which will give you about a -.60% disadvantage) then the slower you play the slower you lose.I love Blackjack and have been a player for longer than I like to think about, but it took quite a while for me to not be upset by the antics I see at a table. At most, I now just laugh at anyone splitting 10's when I know the count doesn't justify it <LOL>Thanks PB!

Hoooochie Mama! Dealt 10x royal?!?! Way to go!
I have a question. You said you had to go back next day to pick up a check. Did they write you an I.O.U. slip or something? I would have been unfortable leaving without my $10,000! How did that work?

Congrats on your win vidopoker. I couldn't hit anything this past weekend but that's how it goes. I did see a woman get dealt quad aces with a 4 on DDP Triple Play. I walked past her about 2 hours later and she was playing 10 play DDB and I could tell she had consumed quite a few cocktails. I wondered how much of the $1,500.00 she won would be going home with her. Congrats again, Ted.

Oops, I meant DDB Triple Play.
