Yes those double pay machines are gone from Joliet. Although their appearance at Harrah's in Joliet was brief I don't recall seeing them anywhere else in Illinois. My next best hit was in Indiana, Harrah's East Chicago ironically, I hit a progressive that paid about $5,800.00 on dealt aces with a kicker. This was in .25 denomination. I have played triple play at the $2.00 denomination at Empress in Joliet but have never hit too much.
After writing this I remembered that Empress in Joliet also had a couple double pay machines, they might still in fact be there.
