Re: 6-1 to 6-4 in Vegas
It is comforting to know my haters are alive and well.N I C E ! Way to take responsibility for your own words.I can't even say that I hate your posts or your sensitivities, let alone you, even when I disagree with your intensity. It must be unsettling to have to view life through such a single-minded intolerant prism in which alternative opinions are warped so much that you see them as originating only through hate (or racism) so often, whether such sentiments exist or not. I'm not sure which of my words or thoughts you regarded as untrue. I suppose it is way too optimistic of me that you might consider my evaluation of your thesis as even slightly flawed.Did I have the audacity to question your conclusion? Yes. Is it filled with hate? Hardly.I'm reminded of an assessment that I heard on a baseball broadcast by Joe Garagiola many years ago when he stated of some participant, "He's so mean, he could start a fight in an empty room!" (I apologize...I think I might have used this at this site before...but it usually makes me smile when I think of it.) I suppose that some might see MY post that way, but it's j-u-s-t possible that others might determine that additional posts (not only yours) might possess a smidgen of that property.Sorry, but I simply can't agree that my previous disagreement was hateful, though I do agree that I might have just ignored your words, only sighed, and not written a response.

new2vp my last post was not intended for you. I find your posts to be informative at the very least. You also usually make me think which is always a good thing. I also think there is no way to interpret the word scalped as anything but derogatory, and somewhat racist.

I had some Bulls playoff tickets a couple weeks ago and I couldn't go so I scalped them. Edog I merely asked a valid question to which you did not respond so I am hoping that you are not labeling me as a hater. I, like you, have Native American blood but I though may have thicker skin than you because I am not offended by matters so trivial as the word scalped. Add to this list: Indians, Redskins, and the like.

What the heck is all this stuff about racism and who people are or what they, when that's been a simple standard for hundreds of years? "scalp" is a word in the dictionary and if it bothers you then just get over it. But why bother bringing all this crapola up, what's the purpose, to find fault with people who are just in conversation? Nonsense.
