The paytables on this particular game at Four Winds are VERY weak. I usually play TDB and occasionally Deuces Wild and on TDB the machines are 7/5 and on Deuces it is 20/50/100. I played this same machine last weekend (4/14) and I was dealt quads several times (3's once but without a kicker) and a single line royal. When I played this past weekend (4/22) I also hit 2 single line royals and AWAK once. Good luck to all. P.S. Tony the rooms are awesome but book early.

mendon there are several low denom (.01/.05/.10) machines located near the casino cage in back. When you walk to the cage from the front door these machines will be on your left hand side, they have double times pay, 50 times play with stp, 100 times play, spin paker, ultimate X and a smidge of other games. They used to have 4 .01/.02/.05 STP machines with a max bet of $3.00 at the .01 denom and I used to have some pretty good luck on those. But alas those were all removed. They also have some machines located just to the side of the main bar, this is where 2 of the STP machines I just mentioned were located. Good luck to you.

Ted,
I'm always impressed with your knowledge and even more your skills after seeing those three hands. I'm curious, do you find yourself hooked on playing multi-hand vs single-hand? It's hard for me to sit an play single hand anymore. The thrill seems to be gone but a couple single hand RF would probably change my mind if they were $ denominations.

I will probably never go back to single hand LL. Back when I started playing video poker single line was all that we had and when 3/5 play first arrived around 1997 I first saw it at Hollywood in Aurora, IL and I sat down and tried my luck. Harrahs in Joliet, IL got 3 3/5 machines soon after and that's when those boats still went out on the water, they went out on 2 hour "cruises." People would stand behind the players sitting at the machines and more often than not those people waiting wouldn't even get a chance to play the machines before the cruise was over and the boat was cleared out. Eventually patrons could get a "pass" that would entitle them to stay on the boat for another cruise and they would just continue to play the machine that they were sitting at. Back in those days Illinois casinos actually charged admittance because they didn't have a good idea of just HOW much money they would be earning. Once they figured out they were making money hand over fist they then dropped the admittance charge. Illinois still has not changed their gaming laws and casinos in Illinois are capped at having 1,200 gaming positions on each boat. When you consider that alot of casinos these days have over 3,000 slots alone, not counting table game seats, Illinois is sorely lagging. Several weak attempts have been made to change the gaming laws here but because of the spectre of corruption along with a Governor that is trying to impose his own opinions as rule don't make for a good future for expansion of gambling in Illinois. The politicians grumble about Illinois residents going to neighboring states to gamble but yet they don't do anything to stop them. It would be a start to get a casino in the south suburbs of Chicago as this would slow the flow of Illinoisans going to Indiana and 2 or 3 casinos in Chicago would help too. Good luck to you and congrats again on your recent hit.
