Low stakes players prefer a fixed number of entries per person.High stakes players prefer drawings where they can play like hell and earn a large percentage of the tickets. They both have their place. It's important to pick the drawing that is right for you. If you're a nickel player and in a drawing where $5 players can earn as many tickets as they want, you're wasting your time. Similarly, a big player is wasting his time in a drawing where everybody in the database gets 10 free tickets a day just for showing up.Choosing the right promotion for you is smart gambling!

Bob, I concur. This was a drawing with one entry/person from those who were attending a host invited dinner- approximately 175 players and guests.   So everyone had equal chances. A whole different strategy is used when we are playing where there are multiple entries as you know and have graciously shared.

Coushatta is known for it big payout and tournaments. The quarterly VIP slot tournament is usually a $100K tournament with the winner taking up to $25K. Top 25 Round Winner move on to the Finals Tournament. Even bottom winners get nice amounts. But many of their contests are based on only one entry or card in use entry.

Thanks for fleshing this out without sugar coating, all. Low rollers really must wake up and smell the coffee. With high rollers cleaning up on the entries, they have 99% of the ammo. My one daily entry isn't costing me money, but is largely a waste of time. Stated another way, don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

I vote A. Give me a shot at a big prize rather than more small prizes.

Option C, forget all the promo drawings and set all the VP games in the place to 100%+ return paytables instead.

Paco, I once suggested that casinos experiment with small 100% VP windows. Even if merely one Monday from 3-5 AM, it would get nice publicity. Of course, it would also draw unwelcome attention to how poor they are the other 166 hours of the week. Most of the country will never see 100% because casinos can easily afford any ill effects of lower tables.

True FAA. At least they could let VP earn the same points as slots and let us use our promo play on VP. At my regular place of play, Mount Airy, they lowered the pay tables of VP after live table games were allowed on the floor, cut the points they earn per coin in, and won't let you play free play on VP.

AC players went insane after CET cut points on full pay VP to shreds. Imposing the points cut on your measly payout is that much more draconian. How far away is the closest competitor?

Closest would be Mohegan in CT or Atlantic city. Mount Airy 2 hour drive, the others would be 4 hours at least.
