Re: Vegas
I was at red rock 6 years ago and I lost my ass on video poker. I talked to a local and she said it was tough there. Saving grace I played a dollar slot and hit 3600 and saved my day. Thanks for any advice.

I hit this royal the last time we were at Red Rock. Guess I was sitting in the right seat at the right time.

South Point is offering free buffets this month, Monday to Thursday.
Play $300 dollars thru before 1pm and get a free lunch.
Play $600 dollars before 8pm and get a free dinner.
I think, but am not positive, that you can do both deals.
I'd rate their buffet as above average for Vegas.
They also sent out emails for $10 free play for $100 played on certain days.

Seems like they've doubled up on the private promotions to those that get mailers.
The flyer says you can do both for $600 of action.
Based on what I read on TripAdvisor, Yelp, and VegasMessageBoard; I did not hear rave reviews about the buffet. People may have different taste buds.
