Imagine using CS on a free game.
[/quote]There is no math or skill involved in being dealt a royal.  You just have to be sitting in
the right seat at the right time.I've had 5 dealt royals so far in my lifetime.  If you play more hands you will see more jackpots.   Playing CS allowed me to play hundreds of thousands more hands than the average player with very little risk.  I would get to the casino at 8:00 AM and play 800-1000 hands and hour until my hands cramped up at 4:00 PM.  On vacations I would do this for a week at a time.  We used to take VP vacations every other month.  Here is a CS dealt royal I hit for $4K a couple of years ago.  The odds were 8/5 so I started out playing single quarter CS.  I started hitting quads.  I switched to dollar CS and this happened.  Turning a quarter into $4,000 is not something that happens every day.  It happened that day.

Nice Phil. Did that hit generate a hand pay ? It looks like the machine didn't lock up based on the photo.edit: I see that it did lock up, I wasn't looking at the bottom of the screen at 1st -- all the rectangles at the bottom, including the deal button are greyed out.

Yes, it did lock up.  When you play the number of hands I was playing, you hit a lot of royals.  Most of them were short coin.  It's the max coin jackpots that made the difference.  I was only risking 25 cents on 90% of the hands, so short coin royals weren't a problem.  CS did exactly what I wanted it to do.  It allowed me to play all day for a little money and still have a chance at a big jackpot.  The CS max coin royal cycle is much longer than 40,000 hands.  Most people that try CS hit their first short coin royal and give up.  CS is similar to multiplier games like STP where the big money is in the special jackpots.  Of course you could hit one on the first hand.  Anything can happen in this game.

I've never had a dealt royal, except while playing Dream Card - on which I have hit two, one for quarters and one for dollars.

Five dealt royals in casinos, plus another two or three playing on this site.

Casino royals were at Showboat in Atlantic City, 25c single line ($1000), Aquarius in Laughlin, 25c single line ($1000), Seneca Allegheny, 25c single line ($1000), the M in Las Vegas (actually, Henderson), 25c triple line progressive ($3224), and Casino Rama in Ontario, 50c five line ($10,000).

I have had four dealt royals.

1. 5 cent ultimate X 3 hands with some multipliers (don't remember) but payout was $1800

2. $1 ddb for $4000

3. $0.25 super times pay ddb x 10 hands for $10,000 (no multiplier)

4. $5 tdb for $20,000 (off of 200 freeplay)

Crazy, every time it happens!!

I have had 4:
Triple play quarters, Deuces Wild for $3000
3 on triple play quarter progressive machines:
Deuces Wild Bonus for $5057
Triple Double Bonus for $12,325
Double Double Bonus for $18,622

and once on this site, playing 10 line Ultimate X I got a dealt royal with 10X on all lines for 400,000 credits.

I was dealt a royal on a 100 hand game of JoB. I photographed it and if I remember correctly I was playing dimes and won $8000. That was on of my 4 royals dealt.

No dealt Royals for me yet, unless the three I've been dealt playing on this site count. I have been dealt quad aces with a kicker once, unfortunately I was playing JoB at the time.  Now quad deuces on deuces wild games, I've been dealt plenty of those.

Never been dealt a royal myself, but my wife's first royal was given to her on the re-deal. She has not had one since. 12 years.
