A tank of gas, or two... I'm not so sure about that, particularly the two. I filled the tank on my van a couple of days ago, and it cost about $85! Granted, that's Canadian dollars, but the exchange rate is not so large as to bring that anywhere close to $50 US.

I drive a 2016 Kia Soul Plus Package. $50 is about 1.65 tanks or about 16.6 gallons at $3 a gallon. My tank is about 12 gallons, but never run it to empty before fill up. So for sake of simplicity, it's a tank and a half to two tanks....but who's counting lol
Cheers

Just one of those sessions when nothing happens and can’t hit the side of a barn. Despite a good amount of play, probably two deuces cycles, nothing came my way. -$550 and give back a lot of gallons of gas back to the vp gods.
Cheers

Cheers Yes, a "tank of gas" is a rather imprecise statement. My Honda Odyssey has a 21 us gallon tank, and the recent fill was the equivalent of 18 us gallons, at about $3.75us per gallon - $50 wouldn't cover it. Anyway, who really cares?

I believe you play mostly at Aliente. The vpFREE2 listing for it includes some multiline 25c bonus poker machines, but I don't believe you've mentioned playing on them at all. Have you ever considered playing them rather than the multiline deuces?

I’ve considered it; however, the variance reducer of the wild cards and hitting a lot more hands with the wild cards is one reason I stick to the deuces. I don’t have to bring that big of a bankroll with me to play .25c 5 play deuces than .25c 5 play bonus poker. Also, I like having a chance for a jackpot hit with the deuces, while, bonus poker 4 aces pays 400 coins, deuces pays a 1,000 coin.
Lastly, although I’ve taken some losses, the results have overall been very positive and that is the most important thing. Going on 3 positive
Months with the deuces. And even with last nights frustrating
Loss and an attempt at .25c 5 play double bonus (9/7/5 version and lost the $500 btw), still up this month a whopping $17 dollars. lol
Cheers!
I don’t have to bring that big of a bankroll with me to play .25c 5 play deuces than .25c 5 play bonus poker.
Deuces rocks.  My wife plays nothing but single line quarter Deuces Wild. She'll always tries to find the best pay tables, but will play 97% games if she has to.  Her annual cost to play VP is so low it's ridiculous.  She's not paying anyone's bills, that's for sure.  I would do the same myself, but I get bored playing the same game all the time.   If I need a little money, I switch over to Deuces and it usually pays off.  The next time you hit one of those days where quads go on hiatus, switch over to Deuces and give it a try.  You may be surprised...

Another battle of .25c 5 play deuces tonight and I was able to hit the ducks this time. Was it enough? Yes, but once again, by a nose. +$21 this time around.
On another note, I will have to concur with Phil...After playing by almost soley for a few years double double bonus, I can say the variance is surely less stomachs renching grinding the deuces versus DDB. Of course hitting the aces with kicker is sort of a kick in the pants on deuces wild, all The extra hits one gets with the wild card will make up for it on the long run. At least, I tell myself that to feel better :)

deuces wild
Sadly yes.  It happens more often in Deuces because you are holding the kicker.  The worst for me is hitting quad deuces in Bonus Poker.

To be clear, when I asked about playing multiline bonus poker, I was referring to regular 8/5 bonus poker, not double double. Bonus poker does have a lower variance than deuces wild.
