Congratulations. Just enough to tip off Uncle Sam!
Interesting that you held all to forego the draw and error nightmare that might ensue!

Easy come...easy go
Decided to mix it up this time with .25c 5 play double bonus (9/7). A nice reminder why I don’t play it, variance is killer and takes the $ too fast. Even with some decent quads including one quad ace could not keep up with the blanks and went to zero. -$500. Has $150 left and decided to go back to .25c 5 play deuces, but with $150 would have to get lucky early...I didn’t. So just like that gave back $650 of the $800 won last session. Welcome to video poker.
Cheers!

Sometimes it just takes a single hit, and that’s what happened this session. Another .25c 5 play deuces session. Hit a royal, little else. It good enough to book a nice win, +$505. I will take it and fight another day.
Cheers

It's amazing how a royal can suddenly put a player into a good mood. Congrats.

Yeah. Sounds like he was on a collision course with a -$500 plus bust. RFs everywhere I click!

From cold to scolding hot...
A lot of video poker players say their machine is either cold meaning they can’t hit the side of a barn, or so hot they can close their eyes and still hit jackpots. Well, I don’t really believe machines are cold or hot, just the timing of the random number generator. But I experienced both tonight.thankfully, the extreme cold didn’t last long and the Hot came to a nice boil!
Playing the usual .25c 5 play deuces. Started with a br of $500 and right away was cold. Don’t remember all the hands, it do remember saving a pair 4 times in a row and blanking. Very rare for this game. I was considering moving machines which is something I NEVER considered in the past due to the aforementioned non-believe in hot/cold machines. But hey, there is a first for everything, right? Well, glad I did not do this..for it got hot...very much so.
Started with hitting a quad deuce on a full redraw and I thought oh good, I got a shot at a decent session. Then a little later flopped three deuces and managed to find a fourth and got ahead. Hym, even better. Then...saved 3 to a royal and lo and behold, first line, a beautiful club royal flush. Very nice. Then as if that wasn’t enough, capped it off with flopping 3 deuces and once again, found a 4th deuce. Wow.
So walked away with +$1,305. A very profitable hour of play I must say.
Welcome to video poker, where sometimes it seems like the rng is against you, and other times when it seems easy money.
Cheers!

Very nice Dan. I am now in a bad cold streak. Have lost money in 6 of the last 7 trips. Was once up 6k for the year, now up only $1,500. Seems like the VP Gods want their money back.
