Well, can’t be all unicorns and rainbows. Gave back -$600 to the casino as .25c 5 play deuces reminds me who is boss. Started with $500 and was down fairly quickly about $260 when I managed to hit my one and only 4 ducks on a 5 card redraw. Then it was no good from there. Feeling like I didn’t give enough, added another $100 to boot and finally flopped 3 ducks 3 times but couldn’t connect with a 4th this time.
Well, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it
Cheers
We make up a little ground from last sessions loss as I hit two quad deuces on .25c 5 play deuces. I was down once again about $260 before hitting the first one, then was starting a slow downward trend and managed to hit another one and cashed out up +$207.50.
Cheers!
A lone duck in the first one soon to be joined by 3 mates, makes for a brighter sun, and parting velvet gates;
1,000 credits rung on the meter, can a session get any sweeter?
The big hit is still eluding me. I play nearly all games - really like joker K or better. Are there better chances for the Royal in certain games?
Any opinions out there? Is the Pope Catholic?!?!?

My understanding is a royal should come around approximately 1 in 40,000 hands, give or take a little depending on the game in question...and assuming optimal play.
So I suppose you have to figure out how many hands you are playing per hour and how often a royal should appear on the game your playing and can figure out at least statistically playing when a royal should appear. Keep in mind it’s statistically speaking and one can go 100,000 hands or more without one, or hit 3 or more in one sitting.
Cheers
Another .25c 5 play deuces session tonight. Lots of missed opportunities as I tip back to the casino -$550. It comes or it doesn’t. It didn’t.
Cheers
We hit the deuces on this long battle session of .25c 5 okay deuces. Was it enough? No.
I hit it fairly quickly in the session, then proceeded to have a long see-saw battle going up and down but just could not connect when it counted. -$500 for this one as well. The vp gods giveth...and taketh.
It took 3 quad deuces to survive this session, and just so. Started with a usual $500 br playing .25c 5 play deuces and within the first 50 spins or so flopped 4 trip deuces and couldn’t connect with a 4th. That struggle seemed to be the theme as I would go way down, hit a quad deuce, then go way down again. Long story short, was able to cash out +$11.50...which I guess is a lot better than the last two sessions. It the struggle is real....incidentally, flopped another quad aces with a 3 kicker which happens from time to time. Playing DDB, a $2500 hit, for tdb, a $5000 hit. So one may ask themeselves, why not play these games and really cash in?
The variance is about 5 times greater for tdb and ddb about 3 times greater. And it takes a lot more blanks and losing hits to get there...a lot more. And...most of the ddb/tdb players I know, go broke. Although some have showed me some amazing sessions. But eventually, they give it back with interest. But don’t take my word for it, play multiple sessions and discover it yourself. And I’m not trying to pick on those players at all, I played solely 10/6 DDB for quite a while...that is, until the variance finally caught up to me...
At any rate, onwards and hopefully upwards.
Had a friend come in Vegas for the day who likes to play $1, $2, and $5 single line job or bonus poker. So we went and played bonus poker about 3 hours mostly on $1 play, and a bit on $2 play after I was fortunate enough to hit the quad aces for $400. I ended up on the plus side thanks to the aces +$250, my buddy not suo much as he tipped the first $500 and decided to go big or go home with another $500 playing $5 denomination or $25 a spin. I can’t (won’t) play that high so just stuck to my $1 play as I watched him tip another $500 to the casino. Oh well, sometimes we are the bug, sometimes we are the windshield.
Cheers!
Ps Forgot to take a pic of the aces, oh well...AAA7A with three held on the flop, for enquiring minds.
