Odds, please.
Assuming a royal redraw is in fact what happened, the odds depend on whether of not any royal cards were in the five cards discarded.

FAA, I'm going to guess, with this game, about 4.4 million to 1. This is obviously rare but quite a bit more common than with a Jacks or Better game. About 17% of the time with NSUD, you toss 5 cards (vs. about 3% with a Jacks or Better game). I didn't run any program to determine how many royals were possible on the redraw on average, but am guesstimating that it is about 2.01. As OMT indicated, often you eliminate some of the 4 suits being possible for a redraw royal since you might have discarded a couple cards from T, J, Q, K, or A in one or more suits. If the average turns out to be greater than 2.01, the odds to 1 would be lower and vice versa.

The longer odds are due to factoring in that redraws are not that frequent. For any given redraw, the odds to 1 are not as large. The odds are 1,533,938 to 1 if you tossed royal cards in 3 suits; 766,968.5 to 1 if you tossed royal cards in 2 suits; 511,312 to 1 if you tossed royal cards in only 1 suit; 383,483.75 to 1 if none of the dealt cards were from T, J, Q, K, or A. If you tossed 5 cards with royal cards in all 4 suits, then you made a mistake in tossing 5 cards, because you should have held 4 cards to a straight (or some better card combination)!

Someone( a tourist who was playing a poor game) told me he encountered a three play machine that set off a bonus round if your three final hands contained cards that made a Royal. In other words, one hand might have Jack, queen, another a king ,ten and the last one had an Ace. He thought the casino was western themed.
Anyone know what game this might be?

I took the royal picture after I cashed out. I held QJ of clubs. Sorry about that.
Although not posting as much, I have to share the crazy night I had last night. It started with .25c nsud with $285 and ran it up to almost $400 just hitting a lot of 5 oak and dirty royals (with deuce). The 10/6 .25c DDB keeps attracting me but keeps kicking my behind. I cashed out of nsud and went to that game. Hit aces no kicker fairly early and was up to around $500 and then had a semi-long battle to zero. This is about the 4th or 5th time in a row 10/6 DDB had my number, and I was tilting a little bit. I had $250 left in my wallet, decided to throw the dice on loose deuce .25c (deuces worth 2500 coins). First spin, I save two deuces (I see where this is going). Sure enough, bam, 4 deuces on the first spin. So sick. So cash out $850 from that game staring with $250. I decide to go play 8/5 bonus poker .25c 5 play wheel poker. Hit two quads but then hit 4 deuces for 200 coins and spun the wheel and got an extra 1000 coins. Decided to play it out and ended up dropping back to the original $850 and cash out even. Then decided to throw the dice with $200 on $1 triple play ugly deuces. Drop the $200 fairly quickly. Then decided to play a little buffalo gold at $3 a spin and hit a bonus worth about $600 but keep playing and cash out up $209 which made up for the $1 triple play sour gamble. But not to be done, decided to play .25c triple play dream card deuces. Supposed
To be 60% dream card, ur more seemed like 80% dream card. At any rate, very volitile game and started eating up my money as I put one hundred after another in the game. Long story short, was down about $600 but felt like it was coming, and it did. Flopped 3 deuces but popped the dream card for 4 deuces (a $750 hit) and cashed out of a roller coaster night up total around $450. Had to share this one lol Cheers!

It's good to see you back, with your stories to remind us what a rollercoaster ride this game can be.

That would require a complex strategy. If you happen upon any details let us know.

I’ve been playing 90% deuces wild games since October, but once in a while go back to 10/6 DDB to get punished, to humble me, and to re-live the pain of variant games. Fortunately, this time it had some mercy as it gave me a long overdue aces with kicker. About 4 more of them will get me even in the last 6 months of the single line quarter game. Cheers,
