Thanks as always. We have quite a nice crew here at this site. Too bad we are spread all over the US and Canada. Some good friends made here over the years. Stay safe and well all. If we have that, VP is just a nice bonus.

Did someone say Bonus Poker? That’s my jam! I will quit early enough next trip to lock in a win. I don’t want my trips to be renamed Bogus Poker.

It has been a couple weeks since I played so I headed to Harrah's Joliet for a little late night action. I sat down at an open machine and began play. I was down almost 3k when I caught the 5OAK. Holding only the Joker on the draw, the other 4 2's that filled in was a welcome surprise. The 2's with a kicker came about 30 minutes later. Felt that the machine was going to continue to pau, I played. And played, and played, and played. Nothing else. I left tired and down $200.00. Discipline failed me and I got stupid. Got a boatload of tier credits to show for my stupidity, would have rather had the cash. Oh well, on to the next trip.

Thanks for the chilling reality check. Two jackpot checks were the play. That’s a lot of riverboat gambling. Boat sank, you tank, no bank. I’d be too busy drying off after diving into the majestic Atlantic.

Unfortunately, you didn't come out ahead monetarily. Hopefully you had a good time anyway and enjoy better results your next visit.

Thanks OTA. Greed got the upper hand this trip. I was dealt trip aces with kickers 4 times and wiffed all 4 times.

Sounds all too familiar to me Ted. At least you recovered.
