Ok with me if you enjoy those kind of pay tables. I must be getting picky in my old age.

Of the Gila River casinos around Phoenix, Vee Queeva has the best pay tables: 9/5 DDB for quarters, 9/6 DDB for dollars, and 16/10 Deuces for quarters and up. They even have full pay Triple Deuces (a game I'm not expertly skilled at). As far as I'm concerned the other Gila River casinos (Lone Butte and Wild Horse Pass) are on par with Harrah's Ak-chin as far as the pay tables go.

As Casino Knight mentioned, the pay tables at the two Casino Arizona locations are "cruise ship" at best: mostly 6/5 and 7/5. Not much variety either. However, the new casino/hotel at Casino Arizona Talking Stick is state-of-the-art. Nice location, many food options, and very clean and large.

Also, I did not see anyone mention Fort Mcdowell Resort and Casino northeast of Phoenix. They have plenty of video poker variety including 10/6 DDB (SF pays 40 instead of 50 - 99.96%) for dollars and many games around 99% such as 9/6 DDB and TDB. "The Fort" as it's known locally, is by far my favorite overall casino in the Phoenix valley. Good VP pay tables, friendly service and nice location.

Maybe we should go to Vee Queeva. Since we are in the southeast
Valley, never get to the west side. You are right regarding Fort McDowell. It
is further away and we rarely get up there except for Bingo. We have played VP
there but have not had good luck in the past. If it were closer, we would probably
go more often.

Absolutely don't like the paytables. Paytables are not the only consideration as to why or where we play. If paytables were the only factor, we would hardly play at all, probably only when in Vegas.

I need to disagree regarding paytables at Casino Arizona. As
I mentioned, one bank of multi-game, multi-amount game kings has ddb at 8-5-4 (the
other is 7-5-4, not sure about the bar) with progressives on the 5 premium
hands for quarters. These paytables were as of Sunday. When the progressives
are up, the payback value increases. Talking Stick is a nicer venue but the paytables
are not that good.

Mea culpa. The one bank is not 8-5-4 but 6-5-4. My bad eyes! Anyways, went the other night and played the 7--5-4 bank with the multiple progressives. When all are raised such as over $1100 on the royal, over $550 on AWAK, over $250 on Aces, over $250 on 2, 3, 4 w a kicker and over $110 for 2, 3, 4s I don't think the payback is not that bad. Perhaps someone can come up with a percentage given these progressives.
