Re: Got Dealt a Royal Flush!
You still didn't say what denomination you were playing. Pennies?
No, I was playing my usual $.25 denomination. I've always been comfortable with quarters, although I've occasionally played halves and dollars if I'm on a winning streak. But then it's back to quarters.
What made you think I was playing pennies?

Nothing as sweet as a dealt royal! No sweating the draw at all. Congrats. I hope my turn comes soon. About 250,000 hands away from it statistically speaking more or less
my last one was on quarters on ACE$ bonus poker. For a second I Thought I broke the darn thing. Nope,Machine froze from the royal drawn. Cheers.

I can't hit anything above the occasional wild deuce on my phone app, or occasional straight flush on JOB app. Ruse to maintain interest it seems.

Incredibly, today I was dealt a royal for the second time in less than a month!
This one was on a triple line 25c progressive at the M, and was worth $3224.

Bravo!
Does the progressive only count for 1 line and the other 2 pay $1000 (4000 credits)?

Every progressive I've seen for triple play has individual royal meters, and sometimes a bigger jackpot when you win all three royals (usually dealt of course). Too bad you weren't playing one of those onemoretry! But I would still happily take $3224!

We certainly do. Of all the casinos we visit, the M is unquestionably the one we like the best.
The video poker games are not quite as good as at some other properties, but 0.6% cash back (we always seem to get double points), and that 25c triple line progressive (base game is 98.91% deuces wild), offset a lot, if not all, the difference.

As Vman has stated, each line has its own progressive, so the three amounts were all different. One of the lines had been over $1700 earlier, but someone took it down.
I almost hate to say this, but I did hit a single royal on the same machine on Monday, for a little over $1200.
However, lest you think that these last two days have made this a trip of a lifetime for me, I have to say that the results on the previous 10 days of play had been absolutely dreadful. Worse still, my wife was, and still is, having those same kind of poor results. Hopefully, she will have a better day today, and I can hold my own.

Thanks for the clarification, its still its good to get over $1000 for each line. Either the meter moves up fast or lots of people play it to reach $1200 or $1700 while you were there.
I recall your spouse had a trip of her lifetime not too long ago. Fortunately it was your turn to have a trip of a lifetime! Congrats!
I appreciate the knowledge of 0.6% cashback with that triple line DW progressive, its a good bargain.
