on 'meet the press' today, joe biden was being interviewed by an 'unbiased' news moderator, chuck todd. he was asked, does the president have blood on his hands because of the slow response to the virus? BLOOD ON HIS HANDS. this, from the same media that called him a bigot for cutting off travel from china.
when obama pulled out all the troops from iraq, ISIS was formed and the caliphate developed. did this same UNBIASED news person, ask if obama had blood on his hands, as a result of the hundreds of thousands of deaths that occurred? of course not, the majority of the media loved obama.
that is politics, it has infected the majority of the media, affected how the news is delivered, the 'facts' that folks receive and how opinions are formed.
to not include politics, left or right, into any story, is to leave out information folks need to be fully informed.

The bias of the media, the bias of the education system, the bias of the entertainment system, and the bias of the deep state un-elected bureaucrats, has created several generations of voters who are drifting along with no core values of their own.
This perfect storm of cultural degradation is destroying the very system that created the greatest Country in human existence.
To repeat a Churchill quote (contributed by either Notes or OMT,can't remember which): "The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter".

there was a lot of news coverage of spring breakers coming to florida, i have been interested in the effects of so many visitors, not following instructions and have been following the progression on a interactive map that is available to us.
the counties surrounding miami/west palm beach have about 28% of states population, but 62% of the state's coronavirus cases. the county i live in (i million residents), which includes clearwater beach, has 4.8% of the state's population, but only 2.5% of the covid 19 cases. both places were/are hotbeds for spring breakers. the good news, if any, is that while florida is third most populated state, a place that had a large number of visitors from nyc, it ranks 9th on the number of folks who have died, with 62 souls.
and, the county that includes THE VILLAGES, has 46 cases and fortunately zero deaths. also, limited visitors and young people.
also note, as many already know, the east coast of florida is considered younger and the west coast older.
the data that will be available after this is over may offer clues for the future. weather, age, population density, etc, may have had an impact on the spread. were some groups more likey to follow instruction and others were not?

So, there were some religious folks out there who thought it would be o.k. to hold a few massive church services. Let's see how that works out for them.
My guess is that they were more concerned with filling the offering plates.

this one is hard to believe. remember, nancy pelosi slid $20+ million into the rescue bill, for the kennedy center. it was a big story. the rescue package was to keep employees from being laid off.
well, according to ABC news, the center has decided to stop paying their musicians, after this week. the center will still get the free money from the taxpayers.
nice job nancy!

Our church is closed. We are conducting our services over the Internet. We have about 400 active members. Each member is assigned someone to look after them and help them whenever and wherever they can. We pay utility bills, deliver food, drive people to doctors, repair houses and cheer up those who are alone. On Fridays, we open our kitchen and feed 300-400 people in need. Our kitchen is closed due to the virus, but we hand out food to take out. We never ask for money. Our members support the church because we are doing what Christ asked us to do.
