Re: Roveer 4/15
Why in the world do you guys draw when you are dealt a hand that cannot be improved. Like the 4 9's there is no kicker involved for crying out loud hold the 5th card. Believe it or not drawing here increases the odds of a machine malfunction (yes like one in a million) but why risk it on a hand that cannot be improved? Remember machine malfunction voids all pays

I need to understand this. I hold four 9s and hit draw and a malfunctiion happens. I hold all five cards and hit draw and a malfunction doesn't happen.

I think the whole issue of holding all 5 or just the quad is silly. I've yet to have a malfunction playing VP in over 20 years that wasn't immediately corrected by the casino by viewing the last hand (and that only happened to me twice). Why should anyone worry about something that is so unlikely and will probably never happen.
Now, if a person plays DDB or any other "kicker" game then it makes sense to never hold the extra card. One could accidentally hold the 5th card when they didn't mean to if they have made it a habit. That's about the only situation I could see where a choice really mattered.
