Random? I don't think so.

Did you hit any jackpots? Did you get a great comp? We all want to know!

My local supermarket holds Saturday morning classes on how to shoplift successfully, if anyone is interested.

Why shoplift when the sampling now approaches a buffet?

FAA.....As Paul Simon says....Just slip out the back, Jack. Make a new plan, Stan. You don't need to be coy, Roy. Just get yourself free.....So FAA, hop on a bus Gus. You don't need to discuss much.....head up to Mohegan Sun midweek. I will take care of the room. I get 2 free buffets every day or 3 breakfasts. They are yours. I just started a new diet last week. Take in some of the CT. sights and history. Even slip over to Foxwoods fifteen minutes away if you like.
I have had to myself resort to playing nickels with spurts of quarters or dollars. Just a bad losing streak like many who have posted lately. Wish I could just quit while ahead. I am ahead nearly every trip. Bank interest is still only around 2 percent a year. Who doesn't get 2 bucks ahead on a hundred dollar bill plopped into the machine and that's 2 percent interest for a day not a year.
Anyway, drop a line if that interests you. Maybe you just need a change of scenery. By the way, you are only twenty minutes away from some really nice public beaches and boardwalks like Niantic etc.

Edited to add....the Italian Roast coffee and pastries at the Bean and Vine coffee shop at Mohegan Sun will blow you away. Lobster Bisque every day at the Buffet which is quite extensive and good. If you get up here, for a day or two it will only cost you gas money if you don't play. Who knows...plop one twenty in the 9/6 quarter job game and see what happens. Take care. I hope we all either come to our senses or break those streaks soon and not necessarily in that order.

If you really want to play dollars, here's a plan.  Drive up to the Mohegan Sun.  It's one of the largest and nicest casinos in America.   Take only $100 and leave your ATM card home.    You are going to play max coin (5) dollars $20 at a time.   Play any single line dollar VP game you want.  Walk all over the Mohegan, window shop, look at the pretty girls, check out the waterfall and the Native art.  Eat lunch, window shop some more, chat with the change girl and go to the bathroom again.  Once every 30 minutes, put $20 in a machine, play max coin dollars and go for it.  Cash out every ticket over $50.  Rinse and repeat.  If you do what I say, your $100 will last you for two hours.  If you hit a quad, straight flush or a royal, give it to the 500 pound gorilla that you hired to follow you around. (joke)If you have discipline, you will most likely come home with some money left from your $100 bill.  You won't get rich and you won't live a nice lifestyle from your VP.  Some days you will do great and walk out with a nice pay day.  Other days you will bust.   The worst that can happen is you lose $100.  The best is wonderful.  In other words, it's just Video Poker.Have fun!!

Half hour intervals augur dollar play. Play, hopefully hit a profit and tour. I may give MS a chance after my next RF or multiple quad day. Weekend day tripper. I seem to be improving. Less greed, more discipline.

If you try this and hit a royal like I have, you can play dollars on the house for a long time.  This assumes you don't feed it back into the machine in two weeks.   The casino will shower you with offers and free play.  They may even give you a parking space right in the front.   You can have all the free ice tea glasses you can carry off and they may even put you in a drawing to win $100K.   Don't hold your breath that this will come true.  The Mohegan Sun is not paying their bills on pipe dreams.  They need your dreams to make that happen.

With 9/6 quarter JOB, they already surpassed Harrah's in preference. I could do okay there, take bihourly pot shots and survive. Overdosing on dollar play would be like a lottery overdose. Might as well throw it away.

I hate to be so negative all the time, but that's the way it is.  Gambling is fun as entertainment.  As a profit center, it's a total loser.    The people who make their living at this game work harder and make more sacrifices than most people think.  I know I would never make it as a professional.   It's so much easier to make money other ways that I would lose interest on the first downturn.   It is possible to enjoy the game as a hobby without mortgaging your house, but you must limit your dreams or the casino will suck you in a spit you out.

I find it to be the total opposite. "Gambling" sucks and to me is stupid and is a "losers" mentality. Going in with an edge, being profitable, and being the favorite is what's "fun."
