Re: Got Dealt a Royal Flush!
Yeah, Last 4 trips were losers until yesterday. Hit 4 Jacks then 4 Kings within first 1/2 hr. on .50 SDB at Borg. Cashed out up $500, then had 2 hrs to kill before an appointment. What to do? Didn't want to stay on SDB, could put that money back quickly so decided to play .50 9/6 JOB. Gave $100 back over 2 hrs. Had 4 to a royal dealt to me 3 times, but alas, did not connect. Once needed 10 of clubs, drew 10 of spades. Ooh Fah.

Great that SDB worked out so well. $50 an hour loss on $.50 JOB is within acceptable range. I do $.25 and grit my teeth losing $25 an hour. A tough loser day for me.

I find it hard to believe- Wednesday I had yet another dealt royal.
We were driving from home to Maryland to visit our daughter and family, and stopped at Seneca Allegheny for an overnight stay to break up the drive.
We were playing single line 25c deuces joker, a new game for us, and in came the $1000 royal on the deal. It is the very first time I have been dealt a royal where there was no auto hold. I had to very carefully hold all five cards.

Yeah, one theoretically could be an idiot and throw everything away to go for five wilds. Congrats!

Yes, that is the only possible reason I could think of for it not auto holding.

That's really getting cute with patrons. No auto hold indeed!

Incredibly, today I was dealt a royal for the second time in less than a month!
This one was on a triple line 25c progressive at the M, and was worth $3224.
Now that's REALLY SWEET! Congratulations!

Jeez! - I was just dealt a royal again - in the daily contest. That's four dealt royals in the last eight months, two in contests on this site, and two for real money.
I kinda wish it had popped up yesterday, when I was playing triple line dollars at the casino - but you have to take them as they come.

It's a shame you don't live around my part of the country. I could take you to a casino and guarantee you hit a couple of royals playing single line vp. The casino had a billboard a while back that said "Have You Had Your Royal Today", they back it up also. I have more and seen more royals hit at that casino than I can count. I believe I've had 5 dealt royals at that casino in 5 years playing single line $2 denomination DDB at max play. I have no idea how many $5 denomination royals I have seen, I remember playing a few machines over from a guy who was playing $5 denomination DDB at max play when he hit a royal, I congratulated him and he said "thanks, I'm going to hit another one. One last story, I was dealt 4 to the royal, needed the J of spades in the second spot, hit the deal button and there it was. It took about 10 minutes for them to pay me my $8K and a quite a few people were there watching me. I couldn't believe it but I had 4 dealt to the royal again and I needed the J of spades in the second spot to complete the royal. I turned around and said "what's the chances" and hit the deal button and there it was J of spades. It took them about 30 minutes for them to pay me the second time because they had to confirm that the machine had indeed been reset. I went 15 years at one casino and only hit 1 royal, only saw 1 other person hit a royal at that casino also in all them years. I don't care what anyone says, all vp is not create equal.

I've had that happen once. I got 3 to the Royal on spades playing 50 cents and drew the other two then after they paid me I switched to dollars and got the exact same hand and the Royal again!
