$1,000, off a crummy one card hold no less, is certainly a substantial transfusion.
Crummy to you maybe...but not to OTA.
It was the proper hold given the cards dealt. Given the result, I will gladly make crummy holds like this one all the time.

Me too.

Of course it's the right hold. Still a meh hold compared to the result. When it's your day, it's your day.

Any crumbs that you find left on the table, just send them over my way! 😂.

I took a friend to the casino the other night. She is new to VP so I was explaining and demolishing DDB to her. We sat at adjacent machines on a bank of two. She put her player's card in and I put in a $20. We decided to alternate hands. Got down to the next to the next to last $1.25. It was her turn and here is what she hit. So excited, the picture cut off the final part of the pay table.

Tried to edit the above, apparently ran out of time even though it said I could. I wanted to add she is disabled and unable to work at present. I told her if she had a winning hand, it would be all for her. So glad as she could really use the money. Sometimes, good things happen to a good person.

Congrats to you and your friend, OTA. It's weird how karma works.

Nice, congrats to her, and kudos to you for supporting and showing empathy for her. "Sometimes, good things [do] happen to a good person," and even more so when good people do the right thing to help them..

Of course, she’ll be spoiled now, thinking RFs must be easy to get :)
