Re: Great comp from Harrah's Total Rewards
Ted, there isn't any fine print like "subject to availability' or"management reserves the right to cancel or null and void" etc. etc.? Those are the things that stifle any sort of class actions despite sounding 100% wrong. Thers gotta be something there. They wouldn't make the same mistake twice.

They did the same thing in Chicago some time ago. (Printers Mistake ) The amount wasn't as large ($500) . They wound up honoring it and made money.
Harrahs not my favorite folks.

Harrah'$ is not my favorite either...not by a LONG SHOT! Yet, it is a Harrah'$ that is supposedly to be build not 20 miles from where I live! Talk about depressing!

I'm not concerned about my own desires to frequent it. I've yet to find a Harrah$ that had decent Blackjack and even more so one that had low denomination VP with fair tables (i.e. nickel).
Now, if Harrah'$ is still around when I retire, I might consider seeking employment as a dealer there! I hear they have fairly decent benes for employes.

Ed - There is the small print that says Management reserves the right to change, cancel or ammend offer. I wonder if this would be akin to you taking a 100 dollar bill to a Federal Reserve Bank and them saying that they screwed up it's really only a 20 dollar bill? I wonder who proofread this offer? After this I guess I reserve the right to NOT patronize Harrah's properties I guess. Puts a bad taste in my mouth, to the point that I was visiting the Nevada Gaming Commission regulations this afternoon.

Hoorah! Good for you Ted. They can't keep jerking the publics chain and keep getting away with it. Someone, somewhere in the regulatory commission has to possess the power to make them pay! Whether it be comped rooms, comped meals or free play at their machines, they'll have to pay sooner or later. Why not now? Stand up and be the David to Goliath, don't be an average OEJ.
