Actually it would be a form of slander; libel. It would be up to the plaintiff (DaBurglar) to prove a statement was false. Now because cyber law is so new, you can go ahead and try and prove that you suffered damages. Harder would be trying to prove who actually libeled you.

On the other hand I could then counter and sue you. It would be much easier for me to prove that I am not bi-polar, WHICH YOU OPENLY CLAIM i AM. This would be easy for me to do because I could simply report that out of all of the medical and psych. exams I have undergone over many years have NEVER revealed me as being bi-polar, much less suffering from mental illness or disability, WHICH YOU ALSO OPENLY CLAIM.

So, you may proceed. Ted, NO ONE would tolerate being called a liar (as well as speaking this ridiculous litany of things you accuse me of, "Half truths and innuendo and whatever else")    NO ONE, especially you.....and especially because YOU refuse to back it up and show just what the hell it is you claim I am doing?    PROVE IT...or stop.  its that simple.I really DO think you are bi-polar, but since I am not a doctor I am obviously expressing my opinion.   Plus, being called bi-polar is NOT in the same class as being called A LIAR.....A liar is a statement of fact and can be shown and backed up by facts.   Even if I was a doctor and did "diagnose" you as bi-polar, that would still be "An opinion", as any doctor will tell you.   That's why it is called "practicing medicine"....Here's one more thing to chew on (or choke, I dont care)......EVEN if I was this "dastardly poster of lies and half truths" that you claim, WHERE does it say that YOU must be the deputy dawg/barney fife of the forum and "pursue me" to justice?   Why cant you simply leave it to everyone else here to also form their own opinions as to whether I am as bad as you claim, and therefore treat me according to whatever THEY think is appropriate?    What you are basically saying is that YOU know better than everyone else, that you are SMARTER than everyone else and have "figured out that villain Da Burglar" whereas everyone else is clueless and allows me to merrily continue to pollute this forum with my written swill.    You are sick......go let some shrink "practice on you"....

Well, THAT truce lasted about as long as Hamas and Israel in Gaza.. And if you observe what transpired, it was HE who broke it by refusing to simply do as I did which was apologize to the forum and move along......he ALWAYS has to have the last word, and his posting history proves this beyond anydoubt...even if that last word is something inane and irrelevant, he has to have it.....So fine, I'll allow him the last word(s)....so long as those words are "I'm sorry, you are not a liar, I was wrong..."Let's put it this way Billyjoe....would YOU tolerate being called a liar, by anyone?   Not to mention all the other harassment and pointless dreck he has directed towards me, while contributing almost NOTHING else in comparison......would anyone else here tolerate that?

Actually, DB, I have had to "tolerate" it. A while back, Bob Dancer said I was lying about being a CET 7Star and an MGM NOIR. He determined that, since I live in FLA, I could not possibly reach that status. I informed him that, in spite of his learned insight, he was wrong, and I asked for an apology from him for calling me a liar.

itsalock I never said in my post that my being here longer than DaBurglar allowed me to anything, or be anything and this includes your impression. If you have been following the forum for any period of time prior to DaBurglar coming on board you will see that I have not responded to other posters in the same manner as I have with DaBurglar. It is my opinion that DaBurglar is unique in his posts about Atlantic City and this uniqueness requires unique responses from me, just my opinion.

If my attempts at trying to provide people with the right information after they may have received wrong information then I may be an A$$ to you. If I try to defend myself after being called names by someone here then I may be an A$$ to you. If I bring a counterpoint to someone's post here and I get criticized for it then I may be an A$$ to you.

All I know is that I have never called as many posters here the names they have been called by someone else here. I have always understood that other people may not share my opinion and I accept that but other people here are not able TO accept that. For this; I offer no apology.

Well I definitely remember your back-n-forth on this topic with Bahb Dancer, but I must admit I had missed that he actually flatout called you a "liar'!!!     Either way, I think that is not cool at all.......but I kinda picked up on him having some sort of irrational, open hostility towards you.....for whatever reason!!??!   But at least you have a SPECIFIC DEFINITE issue to engage with (your 7 star/Noir status), and you can prove yourself by simply showing Bub (and the forum) your cards, etc.      When I see you in October I can testify on your behalf (lol)

Here we go again. DaBurglar feigning weakness and claiming to be the innocent party.

I have been an active and productive member of this forum for several more years than DaBurglar and prior to his arrival I did not joust with anyone here the way I do with him. But then again, nobody else here tried bullying the forum the way DaBurglar does. Nobody filed posts here that are filled with half truths, falsehoods, and flat out lies the way DaBurglar does. Nobody has attacked other forum posters here who have taken an opposing view the way DaBurglar has. Nobody has called other forum members here the names that DaBurglar has and this includes me. My grandfather, Cornell '13, told me that: when a person resorts to name calling they have lost the debate because they cannot debate solely on their position as it is weak.

DaBurglar in your opinion, you think I'm immature. And again, if you think someone is harassing you merely by: posting rebuttals to your forum posts; or, correcting inaccuracies in your posts; or, standing up for themselves with your name calling; or, defending themselves when you berate them the way you do, then I am guilty.

As far as seeing stark differences between what you post and what I post, I do see differences. Your posts are filled with complete fabrications, inaccuracies, and misinformation. Mine simply are filled with corrections to your inaccuracies and misinformation. I am not the only one who has corrected you but, yes, I have been the most vocal.

You doubt people when they post winning pictures or stories and yet, I have never done so. One more stark difference between you and I.
