***February Month in Review***
Long brutal session of .25c 10/6 DDB. Ending the month as it started...running poorly. -$371. At least one thing good came out of this month...it's over! Calculated the numbers, around -$1700 for the month, not thee worst month ever, but definitely in the top 5 or 4 since I started playing VP seriously which was about 6 years ago. The VP gods wanted revenge for Sep, Oct, and Nov and got it!They didn't get it all back the last 3 months, but got back alot.
Grade F.
All I can say is I need improvements in March or will have to rethink my strategy.

Feb could have been worse. $93 weekly loss with all the VP you play is only to be expected. Or at least within the range of expectation.

Can always be worse, can always be better, yes? Well, Negative variance not above/below the normalcy, in the long term view... but taking a break from it anyway. Can have about just as much fun playing on this site and so have to not worry about the angry jealous vp gods. Btw, #16 livestream in the books. #17 coming sometime soon.
Cheers!

[/quote]I'm glad you keep up your thread as I enjoy following your play.   What you are showing to this forum is just how difficult it is to win long term even with the odds on your side.  Just think what your results would be like if you were playing negative games.  A few years is not infinity, but to turn a profit over time takes a feat not unlike winning the lottery.  Some will say I'm being negative for expressing this view.  Faith is a powerful force.  If you believe strong enough, perhaps you will be the one to beat the casino.  That is the essence of gambling.

Every gambler whether pro poker players, pro handicappers, whatever, will tell you downswings and negative variance happens. And it's part of the long term process that I understand. I keep track of my results to know when to put on the gas and put on the break. One can't definitively say this is a net losing thing or a net winning thing without long term analysis. And that could take years. In the meantime, putting on the break and will released and apply the gas when I'm ready.

During my break from vp, decided to play some vp :)....after a slow night of work. Fortunately went well on .25c fpdw and scored a win thanks to 3 ducks matching one held duck...+$200.
VP gods left a crumb for me after they ate a full course meal off me the last several weeks.
Cheers
