Changing from one decent game to another and giving up a half percent or so of expected return is hardly a "stupid" decision.

Stupid is giving up close to two percent by playing short coin.

Anyone who has ever played DW longer than a few months would know better. If you're going to make a living playing VP you need to be smarter than that. What do I know? Billy's the expert here. I hope he has a rich Daddy.

I'm in NY today buying another car for my collection. I see there's a casino near LaGuardia. Anyone ever been there? Think I'll stop by and play some short coin VP just to piss him off.

Reading is so FUNdamental. You might try it some time.
My switch from NSUD to BP cost me $160 on the hand, not $1,000. IF I'd have gotten that exact hand, which everyone but you seems to know would be an extreme longshot at best, in NSUD it would have paid $200.
I'm happy with the brownies because life is good and what I don't win today, I'll win tomorrow or the next day.
It's all one big session. I'm no more concerned with todays results as I am my last hour s results or the last hands results.
Wise men understand the long run. Fools play single coins and worry about the last hour.
Speaking of class, I know its rather late in your life, but perhaps you might look into acquiring some. Somewhere. Somehow.

There two casinos fairly close to LGA. The big difference is to get to Yonkers will cost you about $15 in tolls.
Both casinos have only VLTs.

You missed a $1,000 jackpot because you made a stupid decision and you're happy about free brownies?  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ROTF! Not nearly that big a win but yeah. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy too. Maybe he's a sugar addict?

Think I'll stop by and play some short coin VP just to piss him off. That's an example of sound, intelligent decision-making?

And you're knocking his decision to play full pay bonus poker?

If you are driving the car back to Florida take a side trip down the GSP and play at the Borgata. The NY casinos are VLT's as Bill said. Will cost you a few hours, but a much better choice. Borgata has 98.9 % Bonus Deuces for multiple denominations and a progressive .25 deuces game. Take Rt.40 to I-95 after your visit. You'll go thru some small towns and get some fresh blueberries from the farmstands.

Ditto.

I may add that even if you were given two deuces on a deal in Deuces Wild, if it accompanies two suited cards that make 4 to a royal or 4 to a straight flush, you go for that. The hold decisions are different from game to game and even paytable to paytable.

If BR switched from DW to BP on the very same machine, that is a somewhat stupid to be blunt. Hopefully BR sees this experience as a constructive lesson.

This is one of many many pieces of evidence that FP purposely spends the most time here on the site than anyone else to get people to play badly.

Won't mention the name who brought it up, there have not been any pictures of the $62.50 Royal Flushes since FP claimed to play single coin in 2014 and 2015.

It is sad that some folks think FP is a "nice guy" and thinks the opinions are reasonable; knowledgeable players know FP has no credibility whatsoever.

I enjoy posting on this website. Some of you guys are hilarious. You would think video poker is more important than breathing. And Billy with his wet dream of becoming a professional gambler makes me laugh so hard I nearly split a lung on every post. Get a life!

Thanks for the tip on the local casino. I'm stuck in NY tonight and was looking to kill some time. The car is great and I bought it on the spot. Classic cars are a lot more profitable than VP. Billy, give it your best shot. I could use a good chuckle.

***Wrong thread for this argument guys...not part of my journey so take it somewhere else. Thank you!***
On another note, changing grind games to 9/6 jacks since earning full comps and multipliers on it. -$150 so far but just getting started.
Cheers
