It's just a hop, skip and a jump from Wichita to Detroit. Probably only 700-800 miles. Heck, you'd only bypass around 50 other casinos on the way.

What the hell am I doing in North Carolina?
We all wondered the same thing.
I enjoyed my time in NC the last time I was there. My wife hit a 5oak in the gas station next to our motel and we had a tough time spending all she had won in their convenience store. We also stopped at the Cherokee casino and had fun playing Shamrock Sevens.

You won't find the VP machines in the Gas Stations, Bars, etc. any more. The State passed a law outlawing them. I suspect that is because they were not getting as much play on their lottery as they hoped. Jerks!
Don't you just love it: they call it the " Education Lottery". I guess it means they are teaching the kids to gamble.

Almost 40 years ago I was stationed in Savannah, GA as part of my Army service. Until then I didn't realize the civil war was still going on and I was a hated Yankee. Hopefully, it's not as bad today as it was then.
