Sometimes in VP you need luck

Went to the Taj Mahal this weekend. Played all day Saturday with my husband-mostly 3 line STP DDB. Got KILLED! We didn feel like going to the room and all we had was a big bunch of singles from cashing out odd amounts of TITOs. So I took 15 singles and got 5's. We went looking for this Cleo machine that has been good to us and it wasnt there and I see a double pay nickel spinpoker machine! Never knew they had them. Put in the 15 and played. Got up to 50 bucks-what to do? Hubby says keep playing its a good machine. All of a sudden Im getting ready to hold the cards I was dealt and he says -Hey-I think we won 60,000 on the deal-WTF!!! I look down and there it is! It must have dealt us a Royal! Pushed  deal and up pops handpay call attendent-$3009 win! If that wast luck-or being in the right place at the right time I dont know what is-It saved our whole trip. WOOHOO!

Thanks everyone! Let me tell you we were both humiliated by the vp gods from 730 AM till 7PM with a 2 hr break to lick our wounds watch a movie and eat when we got the hit! Thats a lot of hours of torture! LOL OEJ719 that was my first dealt Royal (except for this site) in many years of playing. My husband had 1 dealt to him and he threw in his hand and got one also 1x. Your day will cone and I hope its on 10 play or STP with a big multiplier!

Congratulations, you deserve it!  I never put singles in a machine, and I think those bigger bills is what did it for you.   On your next trip try the same thing with 50-play or 100-play.

way to go Boops!!   I think the moon was just right last weekend for vp players!  $3000+ ...those kind of numbers keep us all going!
