Hi all,
I will have to correct my friend in a few areas of his story. First of all, he will have you believe that this was sort of a Bill and Teds excellent adventure except, of course, the names are actually Mike and Todd and you might as well leave out Todd because only Mike had the excellent adventure. He hit the royal twice, Awk twice or was it thrice(once was a progressive) and numerous other quads over three days of solid and I mean solid play. In those days it was about 10-12 hours of play per day and the only thing that would stop us is if we both lost all of our money. Those were the days. He left for Vegas in the hole for about $2200 and came back with about three grand in the black. This is quite impressive considering he mostly played quartes except, of course, the dollar royal. If he would have gone higher in denom there is a good chance he would have had a "POKHERGUY" experience. (Hopefully I am remembering my videopoker stories correctly. If I mistated the members nickname then I apologize). In fifteen years of playing I can't touch that kind of luck but when you spend big you win big. Also, we were going to split a c note on a five dollar DDB machine when I chickened out at the last minute. Mike then walked up to the nearest dollar machine which happend to be a dollar progressive carosel at Fiesta Rancho. I will also remind Mike that this was also almost nine years ago and he still has not hit another dollar royal!
Mike I am surprised that you remember that much. Me being the record keeper and all why don't you really surprise me and tell me what year it was? If you can maybe you can dazzle the forum with all of your memoirs!
Heck I am having too much fun with this. Is that my wife calling? Gotta go.....

Hi Buddy,
I am sorry! Didn't mean to correct your story. I thought the forum would be amused by my take on the whole thing. You are a crack up when it comes to VP. No, you don't follow strategy or any other discipline but the times we went to the casino are the best and most fun of my life and I would not change a thing about them.
On second thought, I have always felt that the videopoker gods could have thrown a few more royals my way but other than that I am good.
P.S. The year of the trip you were talking about was in 1999. Prince had the date right for you!!
More stories please!!
