COMP VALUES
JUST RECEIVED A FLYER IN THE MAIL TODAY ABOUT THE NEW POINT SYSTEM AT MY LOCAL INDIAN RUN CASINO. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A LIST BEFORE OR NEW ONE EXISTED. EACH POINT IS WORTH $1.SLOTS- $170. COIN IN WORTH 1 POINTVP- $350. COIN IN WORTH 1 POINTTABLE GAMES-APPROX. 1 HOUR OF PLAY AT A $25. AVG BET WORTH 1 POINT.100 POINTS EARNED IN A 6 MONTH PERIOD = SELECT CLUB,800 POINTS IN A 6 MONTH PERIOD = CHAIRMANS CLUB.I BELIEVE THEY DID THIS BECAUSE THE LOCAL RACINO OFFERS 3X AND 4X DAYS DURING THE WEEK, HOWEVER THEIR POINTS ARE ONLY WORTH .10.I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS COMPARES TO OTHERS.FARMER

farmer1,
Most of the casinos we have played at treat VP like a wicked step-child. VP usually requires twice the coin-in for the same points as regular slots for comp and cash points. A marketing director explained it to us that since VP returns are higher than regular slots they require twice the coin in. I haven't found a place yet that provides the same comp points for VP as regular slots. This is one of the reasons many people will play heavy on those 3X or 4X points days.
