Back to Harrah's, same late night result...

Post by roveer »

I made another of my Sunday night visits to Harrah's and for the 3rd time I had basically the same experience.  Anything before midnight was ho-hum to dismal.  This is Super Times Pay 3,5 & 10 hand usually dollars.  Very few multipliers, all 3OAK were not hitting, no hand pays (not just me, but the entire row).  Once again, I basically empited my wallet during the early evening.

But...  Once midnight rolled around everything changed.  I've had this happen on 3 seperate occasions now.  Here are my post midnight hits.  I know it's totally ramdom, but why am I encountering this trend?

I'll be back at Harrah's this weekend for their "hand pay" sweepstakes.  I've now got 36 tickets to put in the drum.  That's 9 hand pays in August.  I've got 36 cards now from my 9 hand pays in August and hope to win something.  I'm led to believe there is a 25K price on the last drawing.  Guess we all know what I"m shooting for...  I'll report back if I get lucky.  Anyone ever had any experience with this?  How many cards did you enter?  I've seen these promotions before but with only a few entries I never bothered but when I had my big night recently and got 24 of them I decided it was worth a shot.  This past trip I added 12 more.

Needless to say, I'm thinking of not even playing until after midnight on my next trip to see if 4 times is a charm.  Never had I had this many winning trips.  I'm sure my casino host is wondering why I'm trucking so much cash out of her Casino.  I"m marching towards my goal of becoming 7 stars and will most likely stop gambling all together.  7 stars requires 1MM coin in and I'm at 670K adding about 80k per trip.  Mind you my bankroll is way way (did I say way) lower than that, but the machine churn on STP really adds up.

 Well done.

I have very often had my RFs hit after midnight and usually when I have had a down day or couple of days.

Makes me itching to get to the Casino.

HOLY CRAP! Nice wins is right~~  at thirty bucks a hand I'd only last a few hands and be heading home if I didnt hit.. maybe I'm being nosy, but how much do you always figure you need to bring to the casino to play this much per hand?  I normally only bring a couple hundred dollars tops if I'm only there for the evening..

5K usually keeps me rolling.  Most of my hits have been coming late night so I think next time around I'll save myself 2.5k and just play "recreational quarters" until midnight and then roll to my dollars.  At least as long as that trend is in tact.  I'm really bummed they shut down AC as I fear it will change my post midnight dynamic.

roveer,
The hurricane forced the AC machines to reset so your hits will now be between 8 pm and midnight.... or maybe that was 8 am - to noon.

Once again, I am confused.  This seems to happen a lot, lately.  Is it because I am old.  Or is it due to thinking like a child. (Inside joke).Anyway, I too have had people tell me that they seem to do well at night.  Not just on VP machines either. In my own experience, I have concluded that I do about the same at night, as during the day.  But, I will agree that if something is giving a player an advantage, then that player should ride it out, until the trend dies.It is kind of like the discussion on this site dealing with moving from machine to machine.  If you feel that it is working for you, then you should continue with this practice.

Exactly!!!  Now I have to find it all over again.  You know this madness.  It's all part of the game.  Good thing is, Harrah's just sent out an email and they are throwing in 250 bones for people who go on Sunday.  Turns out I'm going on Sunday.  Hopefully I've got some $100 vouchers in my "sept rewards" and I've got around 300 in freeplay so this time, the seed money is on them.  At least for the .25 cent games.

By the way, don't believe any of this, as streaks and trends are part of randomness.  Who is it that keeps telling us this?  Anyway, if the machines are cold from 6-12 and seem to pay me from 12-6, than I'm going to start taking naps until this changes.  I call that a solid stratedgy.
