Sat down to play quarter full-pay deuces tonight for a few minutes.  First hand, got a deuce in position one with garbage.  Drew 3 more deuces in positions 2, 3, and 4.  First damn hand.Played a couple more to get the ticket even then cashed out.  See ya.

Good for you, that is what I call a hit and run.

Concentrating too much on today's score is fool's gold. We're each in one big session that started with our first hand played and will end when we've stopped gambling for all time. Whether a few seconds, days, months, or years happen between hands is irrelevant. It's all one session. Bob

There are people who do not agree with that opinion, including me. I had a $20000 winner a few weeks ago and quickly cashed out and stopped playing with an over $20k profit. Still havent been back, and unlike most or all players who think as you do, Im not the least bit compelled to go back either. There is so much more to life than video poker, even for a nobody like me whos stuck in a wheel chair.

Quad deuces, keep it up!

Quad deuces, keep it up!Interesting that you say there is more to life than VP. I play around a 750k+ hands a year and still find time to hold a full time job, go to nightclubs, go to the gym 5 days a week, local LV attractions such as museums and shows, going to the movies and dinners with my girlfriend. Sometimes I just sit at home and watch TV. Dont assume because someone plays a lot of VP that they dont have a life.

Bob, I think you debunked short term versus long term in one quick paragraph!

Since you aren't playing anymore I assume you won't bother the rest of us with your silly theories. A nice win for the rest of us.
