Vegas Next week. Tips...

Post by roveer »

Headed to Vegas next week.  Staying at Caesars all comp.  To my dismay I found that Caesars only has 1  ONE!!! STP machine.  I do remember this from prior trips.  As you all know, my favorite game is STP.  Hopefully this will help keep my bankroll alive for the 4 nights that I'm there, but I know I'll head to one of my old haunts for a few STP sessions.  MGM has a nice bank with UX right across the isle. BUT... I'd love to hear from you guys/gals with your suggestions for alternatives.  I'm thinking some $5 single line DDB?  Maybe I'll go to Aria for some $100 single line like Huck Seek and swing for the fences.   Would love to hear from you folks with some suggestions.  Really looking forward to this trip.  This is the first time I've had the entire thing comped including airfare for myself and my buddy.  I've even managed to secure myself a suite so it should be interesting to see what kind of "suite" I get.  If it's something amazing, I'll post some pics here.  They even comp'd the golf and my club rentals.  I find I play better on their rented clubs than my old sticks and it's nice to not have to haul them through the airport. Wish me luck.  C'mon LL, rub my head for luck!!!  Still looking for that dealt Royal. Roveer

There are many All-Star machines at Caesars with STP on them. Harrahs also has a bunch. Check out the High Limit area at Caesars - Palace Court

You must play alot to get those kind of comps. Most people I meet at my home golf course Rio Secco, get comped through big table play. Good Luck.

If you can stand "slumming it", head over to Gold Coast where they have a few full pay machines. You have to get there early or get lucky to get on one of them, though ... there are 3 or 4 of them sprinkled around the floor. Planet Hollywood has a nice bank of four slant-top STP near the Poker Room with better paytables than you've been playing at Harrah's AC (they have 9/5 DDB), so you might wanna give those a whirl as well. Might run into you at some point -- I'm staying at PH the nights of 4/27-28 and then at Mandalay Hotel 4/29 and 4/30  Good luck and hit a Mega Royal!!! Meow,Tomcat

We are playing Rio Secco on Monday. I heard its a nice course. Yes! I play a LOT of STP in A/C? Managed to get myself up to 7 stars tier 2 last year.

I rarely play tables? Maybe a little blackjack, 3 card or roulette once in a while.

THERE ARE AT LEAST 10 ALLSTAR MACHINES WITH STP AT CAESERS IN A LITTLE ALCOVE WHERE THE PUBLIC PARKING GARAGE EAXT/ENTRANCE IS. THIS IS JUST BEFORE YOU GO INTO THE FORUM SHOPS. ALSO, FLAMINGO RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET HAS 9/6 TRPLDBLE IN MOST AMOUNTS.BEST OF LUCK.

Roveer, did you use your 2011 7 Star Tier II Experience yet? If not, check with your host about the Golf Experience @ Phoenix Ak-Chin. Most of the 2011 stuff needed to be used by 3/31/12, but due to the popularity of this offer, it was extended to 6/30/12. That is the Golf Experience that I went on where you get fitted for an ENTIRE SET of new golf clubs. It was awesome.

I played Rio Secco earlier this month. It was in good shape, and fun to play. But it does not come close to Cascata. Tell your host to 'bump you up" to Cascata - you won't be sorry.

Of course, you can get female "Tee-Mates" at Rio Secco.
