Roveer 5/25 Harrah's Visit

Post by roveer »

Remember, Playing negative expectation games can will make you lose all your money.  That's what the experts tell me.  Also, please don't look at my pictures and think you can win money playing video poker, it's just not true.  The statistics say so.  Don't get confused by looking at my pictures and take all your money to the casino and lose it.  Now that I've gotten that off my chest, back to my regular post.  Had lots of fun at Harrah's this weekend.  Way too crowded for me but my wife was at a function nearby so we took advantage of the event to stay at Harrah's.  Couldn't get much to hit, but amassed the following.  Sorry, when I post my results, I confuse some folks who like to parse my words and determine whether or not I lost my house playing VP so I'll just leave it with the pictures.  Judge me as you wish.

No, that's not what the "experts say". Why would say something like this?

The difference between the return of most bonus type games is in the FH and Flush. For any particular session your results will be determined by how many quads you hit. If you hit more than normal you will win, if you hit less than normal you will lose. For the most part the FH and Flush returns are lost in the shuffle.

However, what the experts really say is you will win less playing a lower return game when lucky and lose more when unlucky. Over time the good days and bad days even out and your results will be more highly influenced by the overall paytable. That is where the FH and Flush returns make a difference. That is why playing poor paytables will eventually lead to overall losses.

Trying to claim a winning session proves the experts wrong is pretty silly.

Shadow, no matter how personally you take what others say about how and why they play the game and what they say about how odd they believe the experts look at everything, the only "silly" thing is why you feel so compelled to make your frustration known.

Do you ever enjoy ANYTHING in life?

I enjoyed a casino visit on Monday, got out to the driving range yesterday and played a round of golf today. Thanks for asking.

To claim this kind of stuff "frustrates" anyone is even more silly than claiming a good day proves the experts wrong. I do find it amusing that you have to comment on all of my posts and claim your inane remarks bother me. All I'm doing is just repeating what experts have said for a couple of decades. It actually has nothing to do with me personally.

OTOH, only you and your multiple personalities seem to think winning more money on FHs and Flushes will not help a person win more money. One can only guess at why ...

Shadow, what youre trying your darndest not to realize is the level of frustration your repetitious responses depict. No one else does it, and thats because everyone else has a life.

Youre not going to like this either. I ran your response, and the program identified to an over 88% confidence level, that those activities you felt you had to mention were posted out of discomfort with my post. Whether you did them or not, its a notable weakness in needing to talk about them when the best avenue of approach is always to ignore something that tears at you. Now all youll do is feel worse about it, and who could blame you if you came up with a spin or a lie.

Silly is as silly gets.

I just ran your comment and get a 99% probability that you are projecting your own frustration and feeling of inadequacies. The program suggests you change your panties and sign up for Liars Anonymous.

Hello. The pictures. Shouldn't we be talking about the pictures. How about that annoying light reflection right in the middle. Or how about the fuzzy one. I really think I could do better don't you? Maybe it's time for a better camera or maybe I can get one of those life casting cameras and broadcast the whole session.

roveer,
Great pictures. We play only what we feel we can for entertainment purposes and know that over the short-term we may be winners. We have friends who don't gamble but spend thousands on season tickets to professional sports. Each to their own. Keep up the pictures.
