weird results on same machine

Most of the time I like to play a Martingale Clone system of my own design especially on Deuces Wild and on Double Down Stud Bonus Deuces Wild. I have had weird, but overall good results on the last 3 trips to Mohegan Sun. This all happened on the same Double Down Stud machine playing Bonus Deuces Wild. This is not a cheap method and like anything else does not always work, but here is what happened. I start by feeding 4 hundred dollar bills into the machine. My bet starts with just 1 quarter and I stay there except for doubling when required until I have a net loss of 10 quarters. When that happens, I bet 2 and stay there until I have a net loss of 10 times my bet then I go to a bet of 3 and repeat the pattern. Any time I hit something and my credit total is where I would be betting less coins for example 1592 out of 1600 starting coins, I would return to the unit at that level which in this case would be bet 1. Usually, I can last many hours playing this way until something good hits. The weird part now comes in. On the last 3 trips my bets were up to 16 units which is pretty close to losing the entire starting bankroll of 400-. On all 3 trips, a Wild Royal has come in which pays 80x2 for doubling x 16 units bet = $640- bucks so I was well over 200 ahead. I just think it odd that all 3 times were at bet 16. Now if 2 of the 3 trips I didn't give it back on another game.... but that is my fault.

Agreed. I think the Navy is going to or has renamed a ship after her, but I'm not sure which one...I of course was referring to the old Wilson Pickett song "Mustang Sally"..some more lyrics were..bought you a brand new Mustang bout 1965......

Your martingale system is worthless. Just because you've noticed a pattern of something 3 times in a row is just coincidence. It will not last. You will end up with the same overall percentage return using your "special" system as you would with a flat bet each time.Systems that work all start with "do you have the advantage or not? --- and if you don't, don't play at all." Betting more or less after certain events happen is just a form of self delusion.Bob

So ignore your results, and just plod ahead, mindlessly playing a near 100% EV game until your fingers bleed, or you are broke..

Or Both... Anyway, worked again on job this time. I am not so naive as to think 3 trials is enough or any system will work long term. I like it though, because I can be happy with small hits for the day and quit or the once in a while big one. I have lost more $ long term on 9/6 job with nearly perfect strategy than any other thing I have tried period except for the mindless regular slots.

I like olds442 as a poster, but I laughed when I read this.....talk about smacking someone in betwixt the eyes with the truth.....Bob, I know how much it P.O.'s tedlark when I misspell your name or otherwise make fun of it (which means he must really "like" you), but clearly one thing you do not "dance" around is the truth, at least when it comes to sh*tty VP play......but all the same, you do realize that (in general) the way to win friends and influence people is to break such things a little more gently....?  huh?  hmmm?    I mean, afterall, you are in the SALES business are you not?     I got some moldy dale carnegie books I could leave at the South Point Bell Man's station if you like.....?
