I hit this last Saturday night at San Manuel Indian Casino in Highland,
CA. I didn't realize that I never changed the game from the previous
player until I was waiting to be paid for the royal and hit the 4 Aces! I
was only paid 125 quarters! Oh well, I can't complain.

Yikerz!first off, congrats to Laurie007!   welcome to the forum.....Second, while I agree with timspeed on the paytable being a real bummer, I think that at this point, we need to quit "dancing" around the one uncomfortable truth that all of us would-be "ADVANTAGE players" cannot seem to get away from......the state of Video Poker in general is to FORCE these awful paytables upon us,,,,we cannot deny this anymore.   Unless you want to relocate to Vegas (or maybe Reno), you are pretty much stuck playing these awful paytables.   At least in Vegas you can still find consistently playable paytables.
