Isle 8/5/14
Great quick trip to Isle.
Before we left I caught this photo of one of the Duck Commander vehicles with personalized plates on I-10.

Unfortunately, we arrived to find 2 of the 5 remaining 100 play machines that we play had been removed. So they gone from 8 to 3 in a continued reduction of VP. I grabbed the one left in the non-smoking area and over the next 3 yours caught 5 RF (including 2 on one redraw holding 4RF) on 5¢ multi-hand playing between 40-60 hands. Switched to Spin after I lost the timing on 5¢.
After switching I caught this 4 Deuces w A
[/IMG]
Then a few hands later.

Nice hits Double L. Its too bad that they are slowing yet systematically reducing your video poker options. Maybe they want you to start playing their Duck Dynasty penny slots?

I'm sure that's exactly what they want Ted. Or maybe "True Blood" instead. I tried that one in Tunica.

Vman with all the crap that has the Duck Dynasty name on it a slot machine may be an improvement.

LL can you bottle a little of that lucky Scotch Irish mist that is following you guys around and send a little up here. I don't care if vman or bj take a nip or two before it arrives as long as there is still some left in the bottle for me.

I have a real hard time not making the decisions when my gambling money is involved. Slots are why I quit gambling before I learned about VP.

I would be more than willing to bottle it for everyone to share a sip or two if I could. It also might be easier than sending the bottles of "local salsa" we send up to our son in Canada.

Nice hit LL....where exactly is "the Isle" again????I am very happy to hear you abandoned Slots altogether....I really cringe when I hear people discussing their casino exploits, talking about how they won (or lost) playing games like Black Jack, craps and/or Video Poker....and then all of a sudden they switch gears and talk about their exploits playing slots ...... SLOT$$$$!!!! ugh.....that, to me, tells me this is a person with a true blue Gambling problem/addiction!Slots, apart from the admittedly impressive graphical presentations they offer today, are simply the worst thing a player can sink their money into while in a casino.....KENO is also a total blackhole, but at least it is a slower paced game offering a parlor-like atmosphere where you can sit, enjoy a drink and conversation with other people, affording some people a truly "ENTERTAINING" experience. "Penny" slots, which can suck in $4, $5, $6 or more PER SPIN, are simply destructive to a player's bankroll and (quite obviously) are a hUGE reason the casino "industry" BOOMED & BOOMED from 1998 thru 2008.....Sadly, though, one of the repercussions of players like us on this forum becoming "smarter" and avoiding the silly Penny slots in favor of Video Poker, is for the casinos to slash, or outright ELIMINATE, the EXISTING video poker games.....

Isle is Lake Charles. I've haven't played slots since I began VP in 2003. Maybe I miss-typed something previously to give you that impression.
