11/15 Lake Charles Trip
Quick overnight trip to Coushatta. I caught 2 RF on 5¢. The first in the first ten minutes holding none, another later in the night and later Aces on White Hot Aces 25¢.

Meanwhile Sweet C caught AWAKs on Saturday night holding one Ace.
[/IMG]
and then Sunday before we left.
[/IMG]
The night started out with these hits from our SIL and daughter at Isle. [/IMG]
Doug who is learning VP.
[/IMG]
Our daughter Carrie.

Fantastic hits Double L; those quick trips sometimes turn into great quick trips.

Lucky Larry, nice trip! I have never been to lake charles area. There are junkets (L'ABERGE) available, and i am thinking a taking one of them. Do you like visiting there? As i travel with my wife and she does not gamble, is there anything for her to do? Shopping? I would appreciate quick appraisal, thanks.

Yeah would have stayed Sunday night but I had a couple of student observations scheduled for Monday. I felt left out with my minor hits. After my super spring run of 12 RF I've been letting the law of averages catch me.
Thank goodness Sweet C is hitting big.

We find L'Auberge (LDL) to be extremely crowded especially on the weekends. Mid week is fine. Low pay tables on low denominations but 99% on $VP the last time I checked. The LC mall (shopping) is a couple of miles away. In mid-December the brand new Golden Nugget will open. It is next door to LDL. Where are you coming from/junket?

$15 a hand for someone "learning" the game? Yikes! At least he was playing a 100% game though.
And a throwaway royal? You truly are lucky!

Nice job, Larry..
I am curious, though. For the single-line games that you are playing at 3 times the normal single-line max bet, wouldn't it be a better approach to play a 3-line, 5 coin max bet game ?
Were you playing those particular machines because they were progressives ?
