Finally going to Vegas!!!!! November!

Post by Eduardo »

Hoochie Mama! It's finally happening!  I will be going in November but I do not know what day yet.  Are there any events I should try to be there for? I do not know where I am staying yet but a friend is picking the place so that is okay.

I have about $250 saved up just to lose on the machines or hopefully get very lucky and win big () but hopefully can save up more to make it last longer. I will play only video poker I think since I have been practicing so long. Maybe a little on something else but not much at all.  I will have to write down the paytables that I should look for because I can never remember.  I know they are not great on the strip but maybe I can go away from there a little we will see.

I think I will play Deuces Wild or Double Bonus.  Which is better with my low bank roll to try and win something? I do not want to win only $10 I want to either lose everything or double it. (high variance is it?)

Thank you all for any advice and for the help you have been in learning so far.  I can't wait!

Oh boy. I think you're gonna want to bring a wee bit more scratch with you. I'll root for you, though. Good luck.

Good luck on the upcoming trip!  Bigboy's right in saying that, if possible, you might want to think about bringing a bit more scratch.  Whatever you're able to bring, divide it by the number of days you'll be there so that you'll be able to get in some play every day.  Make some backup plans for other things to do if the machines aren't nice to you.  Take in a show.  Nighttime walk down the Strip.  A good book.   Whatever happens, have fun!

Let us know where you are staying when you find out and we can make some suggestions.

If OJ comes knocking on your door please don't let him in.
If Argentino comes knocking on your door let him in and learn his special plays and get some NFL picks. But watch your wallet and other valuables. Watch his eyes closely and see what addictions can do to a person.
He will be dressed as if it is 32 degrees even if it is 90 degrees. What's up with that.

I will only be there one night (2 days) so not a lot of time but will stay up late. Yes I will try to save up more, but only as much as I can be okay losing on such a short trip. That is a lot of tacos!

I will let you know what area I am staying when I know.

Here's a tip...don't talk about "losing". Always think positively! Can't hurt. And just might help.

Many of the hotels have business centers with PCs that guests can use for free, so let us know right away if you hit something nice.  *I'm* getting excited!  Next best thing to ME making the trip.
