AC Jokers Wild
Hey Boopsahoy - I stopped at Harrahs in Joliet, IL Wednesday night for a quick buffet and to cash and dash a cash coupon so i decided to play for a little bit and I'm glad I did. I was playing Atlantic City Joker Poker and I hit 5 of a kind twice and left with a little over 2k in my pocket, not bad for 2 1/2 hours of work. Best of luck to you all.

The first time I got 5oak was about 20 minutes into the session and I was dealt quad queens and picked up the joker. The second time I was dealt rags and dumped all 5 cards and up popped 5 aces on the redeal. I was playing a 10 hand machine.

WOW you got it on the draw after dumping your hand! How cool is that! Well hopefully tomorrow I will get one of those 5oak's at the Taj! Keep up the good work!

Tedlark-we played Jokers Wild almost exclusively this weekend. My husband got a 5oak but I couldnt seem to connect. I only had maybe 4 straight flushes in over 10 hrs of play! We went home losing even with his 5oak! I swear I had 10 hands in a row without a winner more times than I can count!

Kind of like this site today.
Of course it's not real money here.

Boops - I got crushed this past Friday. A friend came in from Cleveland and we started at Hollywood in Aurora, Il and I didn't do anything there, was playing mostly dueces wild and got 4 geuses just once. From there went to Argosy Empress in Joliet, IL and I got beat up there too. The highlight was that my buddy hit a nice $5,400.00 jackpot on slots. Better luck next time Boops.

Wild card games are famous for these kinds of losing runs. My own personal record is 24 straight losing hands. I put in a twenty playing .25 denom and never had a winning hand. I then put in another twenty and lost the first 7 in a row (by now I was counting). Add that to the loss of at least one hand on the previous bill brings the total up to 24. The game? ... One-eyed Jacks Wild, of course.
I also see lots of 10-15 hand losing streaks at this game.

Sounds like the run I had at Texas Station last week. I found the "Optimum Play" machines back close to the Player's Club counter and sat down to try out my newly gained expertise in FPDW. It sucked $25 at the quarter level in what seemed to be nothing but losing hands and push hands. Switched to DB and the same thing. Maybe a flush or two but mainly just a downward spiral. Then on to DDB and it went even quicker. Thinking that the damn machine had to have mercy at some point, I loaded it again for DB and went through another $25. Same thing. I then dropped down to the dime level (lowest denomination on the machine) and played the three game again with $20 for each game. Never did hit quads! All total, I lost $200 in less than a half-hour![QUOTE=BOOPSAHOY]I swear I had 10 hands in a row without a winner more times than I can count!
