AC Pics (I hope)

Ok, I am just going to plaster the pics I snapped (most of the really exceptional ones anyway, although there were a lot more plain old Quads that I hit but did not Upload .....)Enjoy and we can discuss individual pictures that catch your eye, in particular the ONE handpay that is displayed toward the end (the $2020 hit I actually won late tuesday July 26 at around 2:15 AM ......actually that technically make sit July 27 but what the hell....)I did not tell jeter or send him the pic like I normally do when I hit something huge because it was so late in the night, and by the time the next day rolled around,  I was already in the midst of other good hits followed by the inevitable decline that follows periods of great luck.      The swings on this trip were drastic, as I already indicated in other posts, which might not have been entirely accurate:   During the period July 25 thru 28, I actually ranged at various times from PLUS 1500 to minus 1500........This above pic was the hit from June 1 on the machine at Resorts.....while the next one is from last week, July 21 on the same machine, but a 10 handed game obviously.   Note they are both Diamonds, and both hands were preceded and then FOLLOWED by multipliers of anywhere from 4X to 10X!!Next we have BPDLX from the TAJThis above pic is from one of the "BALLYS Game Maker Machines"  which are actually very NICE and comfortable to play instead of the tired old IGT relics....never grasped why Ballys couldnt capture more of the Market!   Anyway I got quad7s on a 10 coin bet maing  it a nice 500 coin return.Next here is a QQ hit off of JETER's favorite machine at Harrahs:And finally the MONSTER of the trip which at the time (215 AM Tuesday nite / wednsday Morning)  put me well into profitable status of at least Up by 1200 after hitting it, but alas it was followed by a ICE ICE COLD sustained drought throughout the day and evening of Wednesday July 27 which put me back into negative territory.    FYI   This game was EXTRA DRAW FRENZY on a Harrahs Allstar 2 machine, notorious for being otherwise money devourers!!!!

Mount Airy recently added this game as well as some other Bonus/gimmicky feature types. I ran 500 bucks through a quickquads $1 denom max bet and never got a quick quad. Didn't get any quads at all as a matter of fact.

Didn't get any quads at all as a matter of fact.Hey paco, thanks.......the only "trigger" needed is simply bet the MAXIMUM (6 credits instead of 5) each time you hit "DEAL" as you play the game.    And then when it comes to making the correct Holds and draws, you really should read up on a strategy guide or practice on websites like this website.....the strategy for this game is tricky for many people;   Even myself, I am not anywhere near mastery yet for QQ;     You might want to pay MORE attention to the answers and posts you get  on this website from people like  JETER since he is the most prolific  Quack Quid player I personally know (either on this site or in real life.)

I'd like to talk more about THIS actual Game and what it represents,  and what others here on the forum have experienced playing it over the years.   ......as I mentioned in my first post above, it is a  BALLYs  GAME MAKER Machine, a really nice, comfortable, large spacious table top game.........This one pictured that I scored with is one of FOUR (4) machines total in the Taj Mahal;    in the Tropicana-AC there are at least 10 similar games/machines except they are not table top, they are the upright style and have other games besides video poker on them.What has everyone noticed about these game in general  when compared to IGT games?   Have you experienced better or worse quality of PLAY?     Have your play results been better or worse than IGT games?    Does anyone know why it worked out the way it did, where Ballys games are far more rare than IGT games?    I find it odd since the Ballys games are in my opinion, far more comfortable, enjoyable and "Stylish" (in other words, More  FUN to play) than the IGT games.

When I hit this hand playing Extra Frenzy Draw at Harrahs, it was the THIRD time in the last 6 weeks that I was dealt four to a Royal in DIAMONDS on a multi-hand  game and caught exactly TWO of the possible Royals each time!     Uncanny, unreal, unbelievable.I have some more hits and pics floating around in my phone and I will see if I can dig them up.Also, here is some other tidbits of info that I experienced over the course of my 2 part AC excursion between July 20  thru July 28:1)     On a plain old single line IGT game at the TAJ playing 25 cent single line DDB, I hit plain old Quad 8s;    exactly 3 hands Later I was DEALT  quad 10s!     Now this is only worth mentioning because a while back some of you may recall one of the things on my VIDEO POKER bucket list is to actually get a Shockwave Poker Jackpot.......well obviously in the scenario I encountered this would have indeed been a SHOCKWAVE JACKPOT!!!  (for those of you who do not know what I mean, in SHOCKWAVE poker, if you get a quad at max coin, then you enter a bonus round whereby if you get ANOTHER Quad in the next 10 hands you get the SHOCKWAVE bonus of 4000 credits!) But this latest story does not end there.......  After hitting the QUAD 10s, I resumed playing and 9 hands later......you guessed it!    I caught quad 3s, no kicker!     I was now in a semi state of SHOCK myself.......See normally when I am simply playing single line DDB, or Bonus Poker or Double Aces & faces, and I hit a Quad I always then count to 10 as I see if a I get another quad in the 10 hands, in essence "pretending" to play Shcokwave!    it makes it a little more fun......2)   At Resorts AC, the infamous bank of 8/5 JOB progressives were at an all time HIGH this past weekend and into Thursday, july 28 before I left to return home......the jackpot was over 2000 bucks (it starts at 1000 and almost NEVER ever gets to exceed 1500, normally is usually hit around 1200 to 1300 bucks!)    Well needless to say I spend more than a few hands trying to hit it to no avail, but happily i did NOT lose any money in my attempts to hit THIS jackpot!        I kept getting a lot of Full houses, a couple of straight flushes and a modest number of QUads (at only 125 credits though not much to celebrate but at least it keeps your guns loaded so to speak.....)      THe worst part of it though was this:In one span of less than one hour I TWICE caught four aces with a King.......one of my favorite PET games is Double Double Aces & Faces, and we all know the payoff for quads aces with a Facecard right!!!      At Resorts AC, the VAST majority of all the other single line IGT video Poker games all have Double Double Aces & Faces....so it was exceptionally painful to see me "waste" such a premium hand on this forelorn quest for a progressive jackpot!!!! argggh3)  Ultimate 4 of a kind:   Another "pet" game of mine is Ult 4 of a kind, both the single line version, and the multi line version.    In Atlantic city, the Single line version can be found in Harrahs on at least 5 or 6 machines throughout the casino.....the paytables suck really bad on these games so a word of caution is in order for people playing the single line ULT4 games:  if you fail to actually get a quad in a fairly quick time frame, you might consider BAILING out and playing something else because before you know it, you will be deep in a hole!     Anyhooo......harrahs got rid of the multiline Ultimate 4 of a kind game they used to have, but there still exists one lonely Ultimate four of a kind MULTI LINE Machine in the back of the Taj Mahal casino that I usually pay a quick visit to each time i am there, and I try and make a quick score out of it.         This trip I had a small amount of success at both games:  at Harrahs I caught quad Aces once and deuces once playing DDB, but found no jokers!  I did find an ace and a couple 3s in the bonus round though, and at Harrahs, the bonus round value for 2s 3s & 4s is 300 credits!      At the Taj I only played the multiline game once and caught quad 5s pn two different lines for 3 bonus picks, and both times I selected a 3, but at the Taj BONUS game for Ult4OAK   2-4s are only worth 235 credits!    still better than nothing obviously and enough to get me out of there intact at that point anyway!

Hey DaB, enjoyed reading your report.  Mostly, thanks for the time, effort and honesty displayed in all of your reports/replies.  I may not agree with some of them; but I certainly appreciate them.  I'm glad you had the luck you did and those are some nice pics.

Ok, thanks DaBurglar. Didn't know if there was certain DEALT hands that triggered a QQ, like 3ok,FH's or something. Just a bad luck run for me that time I guess. I will pay attention to posts regarding QQ on here 'cause I will give it another shot I'm sure.

Mount Airy used to have those Bally machines years ago before the table games came in. I loved them. As you said they were comfortable and I always had better luck on them. They used to have 10/6 DDB $1 denom games also. Table's came in and they downgraded all the VP and tightened up on the comps/offers. Only reason I could think was the loss of floor space cut into the slot/VP revenue.

Up and down swings...aahhh....the life of a gambler. Just curious, did you find the results to be inline with your total number of hands this time or were the results way below expected value?
