Four Winds - New Buffalo, MI Sat. 09/10/16

Post by Tedlark »

Well after last weeks good fortune at Hollywood Joliet I decided to throw caution to the (Four) Winds and take a drive over to Four Winds New Buffalo, MI. for some play.

I sat down at my favorite DreamCard machine and began play. I started with TDB 10 play at .10 denom to see if I could generate something on my freeplay. I was able to end my freeplay up about 40 bucks so I decided then to up the denom to .25. After about 15 minutes of play I hit deal and up popped: 4442 and then I heard - "DreamCard" and delivered to the five spot was that last 4. Holding all 5 cards resulted in a very sweet $5,000.00 handpay. I think the elderly couple playing next to me was in shock.

I resumed play and still at the .25 denom I nailed AWAK for another $1,000.00. A little while later I nailed AWAK again for another $1,000.00. I had a feeling this was going to be a pretty good outing.

Still playing TDB I caught four 2's with a 3 for another $500.00. Changing pace I switched to Deuces Wild and sure enough, I was dealt trip deuces and nailed the fourth deuce on 2 of the lines for another $500.00.

Switching back to TDB I was catching bunches of small quads, enough to keep me playing TDB and then: dealt A_AA and then again I heard - "DreamCard" and up popped the fourth A. I held the aces and then said a small prayer to the god of kickers, only got one but it ended up being a nice handpay of $2,800.00.

I switched to Deuces again and got quad deuces, jumped back to TDB and was rewarded by being dealt 84888 for $625.00. About 20 minutes later, while still on TDB I was again dealt 66566, for another $625.00.

After playing for a while and giving a little back I decided to switch back to .10 denom. I was rewarded with AWAK for $400.00. I was again dealt quad 7's a while later. By now it was a little after 5:00 am and I was getting tired plus they were coming to switch out the money boxes so I decided to call it a night.

I left Four Winds quite happy.

My friend I wished I had your luck, do you ever lose?

ko - Yes. I had a losing session earlier this year when I went down to Tunica.

Thanks wildman, I've played it at M in Las Vegas but the drawback to me is that they don't offer TDB, just DDB. Oh well...

Guess again daffy; I've got no reason to lie. If you cannot accept that I've had one losing session this year, that's your hang up and not mine.

Edited to add: daffy I was cordial to you before when you inquired about my FSP and I told you I had reduced my casino outings. I thought your inquiry was somewhat intrusive but I answered anyway, and quite honestly I might add.

Thanks olds I enjoy them too. This was one of the sessions of the 7 winning sessions Ive had this year where I hit something really good right out of the box and I wasn't dependent on hitting a nice one later to save my bacon. If you remember; there were a couple of my winning sessions that I reported on this year that went from losing sessions to winning sessions in one hand. One in particular while playing at Hollywood Joliet on a rare Wednesday night outing when I was leaving at 9:00 pm, up or down. At 8:55 pm I was down almost my entire $500.00 bankroll for that night when I hit a magical 2K royal right at 9:00pm. They paid me off at 9:08 pm and I dashed out of there a winner instead of a loser.
