Tunica Winning Streak!

Post by Vman96 »

Thanks to a discounted room at the Roadhouse with very little play, we decided to run back to tunica earlier this month.

Couldn't pull off royals 3 trips in a row, but still had a few good hits in Tunica. :)

This was interesting because they were three minutes apart. Me first.

My gf was nearing going broke and quitting, she gets an STP multiplier after getting dealt on 2. I say to her, "Now get 4 Deuces dealt!" Well...

Later that night, got a multiplier of my own.

Also got to play Shockwave Mode for the first time, thanks to my observant gf hearing a empty VP machine making commotion 25 feet away. Some sap left during the positive expectation Shockwave Mode. So I took a shot.

Broke 2 pair here on my first hand.

Unfortunately missed all the remaining hands.

Pulled a quad holding a different card for the first time in awhile.

Go off to Bally's, find a craft beer I like, but the tap sucked. But still was worth it with this very satisfying Super DDB hit only holding KQ off!

Hit a dealt quad on the way out, nice way to finish!

_______________

I wish this was me, but unfortunately not. Dealt Aces w/kicker with a 12X, 4X, and 2x (i.e. last hand High pair turning into Trips and a full house). Not that lucky yet!

Also had a slot hit because I saw the clock past 8pm. Hit it for slightly over $100. My biggest progressive slot hit!

No beer pics?!? It is all good.

Very good run and nice wins on your favorite STP and DSTP!

Dropping the two pairs was the right play when the quads are worth that much (at least 680 credits), learned that from Wheel Poker.

The Rock around the Clock (the first and original is my favorite) was a good play when you spotted it past 8 o' clock (12 o' clock is automatic bonus). You had 50/50 chance to get either a progressive wheel slice bonus or the rock around the clock (crappier in my opinion), afterwards you had to pick 1 of the 3 wheels and had to have landed on the yellow wedge to be able to win that. Glad to hear that all those circumstances went in your favor!

Thanks for sharing the report!

Yeah, the beer was much more disappointing that pulling those last three kings for $200!    I have bought a couple of six packs of that beer and brought it back home. So I know it tastes better than that. And the rest of the trip, mostly boring Budweiser. Most casinos there don't bother to give craft beer out for "free". :(

Always enjoy the reports, but can't say which I like better the beer pics or the hits. Well, one you get to keep for awhile and other goes down and hopefully smooth. Nice hits guy.

Great hits!

Many years ago I left a SW in bonus mode. I thought the 10 games were free spins - after playing (and paying for) a few hands, I bailed.

Why is the lady next to the jackpot even playing? I'd be so distracted and depressed, seeing it while my bankroll is draining away!

That was the person that hit the jackpot. That pic is at an angle. Took forever for her to get paid too. She was pretty rude imo. She sat her ashtray and drink in the empty seat (that game to the left was not being played) and got ashes all over that seat. Once the machine finally got unlocked, she still was playing it when we decided to leave.
