Well... It finally happened.
I've been playing VP fairly regularly since 2010. I've long known that it would take somewhere around 649,740 hands before seeing a dealt Royal. I surmised I had passed that long ago and just thought I was unlucky. I've heard of some on this forum that they've seen several per year. I always thought what's wrong with me.
So on Thursday night I took 300 bucks and 700 bucks in Harrah's FP and set off to see what I could do. I was holding up pretty well. Going nice and slow I had a couple thousand dollars ahead of the 300 real dollars. Just an hour before I was talking to a guy sitting next to me and brought up that I had never had a dealt royal. Just plugging along it happened. I hit deal. The cards came up, then strangely autoheld all 5 cards then blasted from bottom to top "Royal Flush". I was kinda socked. At first I thought I had seen a machine malfunction, then it sunk in. My first dealt Royal.
I have to be honest. I've talked about it here and to folks in the casino. I always thought my first dealt royal would be playing nickles or at very least single line game. I had always wanted it to be on my old dollar 10 hand (which would be 40k), but lost interest in that a while back due to its high cost. I was very pleased to finally get a dealt royal at least on multi-hand and on dollars made it really sweet. I grabbed that sucker as a check so at least I'd bring something home, then went on to give back my other winnings. Something still very wrong in my psyche about leaving when I'm up. But at least this time I went home up 12 grand on 300 bucks. Enjoy.

Nice hit Roveer! I'm still waiting for my dealt Royal to hit. I'm not sure if I've played 650k hands in the last 7 years since I moved to Nevada, but I might be pretty close.

Congrats! I've been dealt a Royal before on triple and single hand .25 machines, but never playing $1's.
