Fun Day
The wife and I went to Evansville to play at the Tropicana there. She went to the tables to give money. I went to video poker. I put a hundred in and am playing quarter game Triple Bonus. I am down to the last play and receive a gift. Four aces and a kicker dealt. Suddenly the machine is frozen. I was thinking oh no but then it started showing the win. I loved the fact the machine would not let me loss a $1,000!
Wife went home less money but I had won enough to cover the loss. Fun day!

WTG Wilcox. Gotta love those "last" hand hits. High variance game hits are nice too. (not sure if you meant TDB or just TB)since quad A's in TB pay 1600 no kickers involved. Either way, nice hit!

Top wins (Royal or AWAK on TDB) on IGT machines automatically lock up. Congrats!

Had a nice meal with my wife and my sister's family at Pearls in the Ameristar (St. Charles/St. Louis MO) on 5/11. Wife lost $200 playing slots I hit 4AWAK on a $1 machine for $2k. I then had a funny/sad thing happen. The music playing in the casino was raised to a painful decibel level. The hot machine I was on ($450 playing $2/$5 and hitting often) was no longer playable because I had to hold my ears. I texted my wife "Let's go home". I have never left a hot machine except for a plane. What-the-hell. My ears were still ringing the whole way home.

I have left when the noise level gets too high. Go to sleep at night and still hear the sounds!

It's generally a good idea to stay on a hot machine. But when the environment is intolerable, it's a wrap.

It's generally a good idea to stay on a hot machine. It's not the machine that's hot, it's the player.
Remember the song - When you're hot you're hot, When you're not you're not?
