Re: Finally a little old spice cologne, I mean clone
This is really kind of hard to believe. I had a premonition which of course according to Bob Dancer means nothing and he is correct.....that the machine was still going to be strong during the day today. After a nice nap and shower and light breakfast, I decided to take a shot for an hour hour so playing my usual Martingale clone. I had progressed up to bet 11 just playing the centerline though and sure enough holding three deuces, I caught the quad deuces. Just before heading home around 2:30 starting over at bet one and losing losing losing, I had progressed up to bet 11 again. I held one deuce and got the deuces again. The crazy thing is not only hitting them at bet 11 twice, But the credit balance after the hit was the same on both hits. After I cashed out after the second one for 2200, the techs were coming Along with the suits and I’m sure they were going to shut the machine down and tear it apart. I’m sure they monitor these things and probably got nervous about all the hits I had on it in a roughly 12 hour period timewise but only about eight hours play time.

Further play yielded another $2300 of major hits. What an evening!

Actually Faa they were separate 2200 hits. Just 2 hours apart. Absolutely amazing. I hope they don’t pull the machine, but they might.

I swear sometimes with video poker I think I am in bizarro world. The last time anything strange like this happened was five or six years ago when I hit hit $18,000 twice in that exact amount less than 12 hours apart. Borrowing One of my favorite quotes from Florida Phil in video poker anything can and will happen. I’m not sure if that was an original from Phil but it is Surely true.

So what was your net? This is too stunning. I’m way too much of a quitter for even a brief attempt at fortune.

Net was very good Darn State kept 7 percent of all my handpays though. That was voluntary on my part as in 2017 I had to pay them nearly 10k even though I had a big net loss for the year and that was on top of our normal withholding

You posted the last two jackpots as I was posting. Our posts crossed in cyberspace.

Yep that’s happened to me several times before. I still can’t get used to the time difference. 3 hours I think

Fighting not running back to Mohegan. Luckily, spending time with dad and have to take the girls to the airport tomorrow. I’m going to make a mini resolution not to increase my bet on the next trip until I have lost 200 bucks playing a buck at a time on the same game. Anytime the total goes to plus 20 bucks or more I’m going to cash out and either start over or take a break. I definitely will keep the losses under control this way. Should I hit a Royal, that will pay me 800 bucks. Or a quad deuces with tve ace for 400, I will call it a day. I may need a monitor to stick to it. Hope not. I have had Royal hits evaporate in one session a few times over the years. Getting too old to repeat that kind of history.

I get sick enough having quads evaporate! With age comes wisdom. Carpe diem et caveat emptor. I must double my BR to approach your antics.
