AP, I actually created this thread, and my prior lengthy thread, for it to be about me and basically chronicle my trips for later evaluation. So can we minimize tiresome tangents? You can do you on any other thread.
I actually was challenged by that person in kind of a condescending manner, so I had to defend what I said unless I wanted to be a pushover. But ok, blame me. I won't comment on any of your threads in the future no worries
Superb Saturday. I won $23 on $20 Caesars JOB FP. I switched machines before the inevitable give back and hit a max quad for an even +$30 on the bank. Dollar play took $15 of it by the time my second quad hit for $100. A man behind me kept switching games every three hands in a maniacal session. He left his donation. I decided to hop on for a quick hit, inserting $445. I lost nearly half before my third quad. Four Aces! Deja vu, even drawing the second pair. Crappy old machine with Chiclets buttons. 7/5 BP to boot. Yet I prevailed. I tried Bally’s fifty cent to preserve funds and was +7 there. Net Day: +$164. 132 TCs between the casinos.
. No more Saturday nights for me FAA. Besides busting bankroll, it was packed with covidiots. Caught one drunk smoking near my area. Snagged security. He gave them crap and they bounced him. About ten people clapped as he was escorted out!!
Funny how Mohegan Sun pulled 8/5 BP for 7/5, but left 99.54 JOB intact. I have a theory. The smaller players could last longer in the game by hitting 2s,3s, and 4s and often times the Aces. In the meantime, they stayed alive by getting paid 2 for 1 on 2 pair.
In JOB, it’s a slow but sure deathroll without hitting a Royal on schedule. Long term, they would still make more money on 8/5 BP than 9/6 JOB
Playing the poor table was foolish. I was spellbound by the prior player hanging in nicely there for a half hour before succumbing. I figured that I could as well, and hit a premium quad in time. It worked out, but I was courting disaster. I should have gone to Harrah’s as planned. I am way too influenced by others.
Casinos need some 99.54 JOB to attract low rollers who would otherwise avoid the place. Once in the roach motel, the death roll works its fate on them. I had to leave the quarter bank after my quad. Others were busy and I would have given it back on my machine. I still lost half of it on dollar en route to my second. But I think that I made a better decision than losing it all on quarter quicksand. That’s just how that bank operates.
