I just did the math on where I may have been without VP for the last 25 years. I don’t regret anything except the lack of discipline, but there is where I could have been today.
Losing 10,000 a year for 25 years comounded at average stock market returns of ten percent would translate to a loss of 1.3 million bucks. Some of my years were less but many especially the last ten years or so were much more than a 10,000 annual loss. Anyway, as they say, life is about choices. Keeping one’s health is still number one.
You should write a book: 1.3 Million Dollar Video Poker.
Lucky he was only ten minutes in. The “top eight” worldwide BP player had already lost 60% of his $3,000 third casino BR. He still would have been about +$7,000 on the day. He went for the gusto and the universe came through for him.
I get a kick out of his disclaimer about how he doesn't always follow optimal strategies and that he has the money to afford these high-limit games. That is a lousy excuse. Would this same guy go shopping and insist on paying $100 for something that costs $92?
He does some odd stuff for sure, won't play full play or ever 98% because they throttle back his points.
The flip side is getting 2- 2500 free play or 1500 just to walk in the door. I think he stopped doing this but if you watch his Bahamas trip he is going through customs with something like 68K cash. The dude clearly has a horseshoe somewhere.

Yes, and it appears to be fully lodged. I didn't know about his full play recalcitrance. Was it part of his small talk early in the vlog? I guess if you're that much of a high roller, you get addicted to the hefty comps and free play loot. Must be a nice lifestyle.

Go see what he posted today. three 5.00 machines first KKKK next AAAA next RF all three waiting to get paid all next to each other.
And as I said in an earlier post. Take anything posted on YouTube with a grain of salt. Many are highly edited. And for every one video with a big win, they don't post the hundreds where they have big losses.

if he had it on film, would you still dis-believe? (from the moment you saw on screen 15fp to the all the moments he won the last jackpot i guess you would have to believe then?)
i honestly dont know if he really did turn 15$fp into 100k
best i ever did was 20fp into 500$ and 10fp into 1k$ (off97% pay table)
i could have went into the high limit room w/ 1500$ and maybe hit something there but i rather go home happy and those winners were on seperate weeks
On 2/28 as posted in the REC forum under heading up tonight, I turned 20 free play into 7,342 quarters. Was this just blind luck or my sometimes ESP. I think this time it was my ESP. If you read my post before I ever left the house you will see why. My shock was thinking the quad Jacks was my ESP reward not the Royal that followed 5 minutes later. Sessions since then have been cold. Posted those too
