You know it pains me to criticize other posters, but if I had to nitpick, my one disappointment is that your bets are so ... pusillanimous. Highest on the board is $3, and you stooped as low as 60c.

For the time being, I'll trust the plan. Nome wasn't built in a day.

I need to give this a dozen or more trials. I am practicing on this site as well with excellent results. I will take a plus 200 trip any day of the week. I think the reason it is working even after all of those hours is the multiple chances to connect with 3 games being played at once and the varying number of lines played as well as bets per line. If I run into a bankroll buster even on this site, I will post it too. I am also betting against the math in practice relying on 5 of a kinds, wild royals, and quad deuces to keep me even or better in the session. Lots of trials yet to go.

The problem is everything you try will eventually fail if you test thoroughly, so you end up forever chasing your tail.

Wow! North to Alaska was the 5 th record I bought as a kid. In order…..The Witch Doctor, Purple people Eaters, Big John, Battle of New Orleans, then North to Alaska. Number 6 was Don’t Hang Up by the Orion’s.

North to Alaska was also a pretty funny John Wayne movie. Costarred Stewart Grainger and Ernie Kovacs. Also costar Mickey Shaughnessy, who also costarred in Jailhouse Rock with some guy out of Tupelo, MS.

Typo. Stupid auto correct. The Orlons. Saw the movie…..loooong time ago. 👍 The Orlons. I coaxed my dad into playing the Sax part. My dad was pretty famous in the big band era right after the war through 1952. Then his career took a 180 and he became a Flight Inspector for over 35 years. My dad would play a little Video Poker, but he really liked the cartoon type penny machines. Before Video Poker, my mom and other neighbors hosted Poker Parties and everyone played for Pennies and nickels. Of course the goodies were a big part of it. Speaking of VP, if the Arctic Cold snap will allow it, a Bizarro trip is planned for Sunday Eve. I will test out my new game. The Mrs is on tap for next Thursday. Weather permitting.

A little bit of trivia for us old timers. During the war around 43-45, my dad played in the Army band. Rudy Vallee would buy a case of beer for the band, but after the show, he would come around and collect the empties for the bottle deposit. Each bottle was worth 2 cents. Rudy Vallee also enlisted in WW1, but was thrown out after a month or so because he was only 15.
